We have lived at the baseball field since April, and it’s been an honor to watch him grow as a person and player. I don’t think we’ll know what to do with ourselves when the travel season ends next month but basketball is next up for him and he’s excited for that. Hopefully this year I can get him into watching some KU games with me as he was curious at times last season.
With work - similarly I got a promotion about a year ago. Then immediately we were (are) and industry current administration is going after. Caused a ton of stress. Went to therapy to help me understand why I was hating work so much. It very much helped keep things in perspective. Just a thought if you haven’t tried it first before leaving.
Congrats on the baseball! Good luck to him pitching! I miss playing baseball at that age more than any other competitive sports I played.
My 6 year old came home singing this, which he picked up at school. I guess theres a clapping game that goes with it. I enjoyed the regional variations in the reddit thread.

@JayhawkRock78-For the H of it I just looked at ross’ comment pages on LJW & I only had to look at two which the content covered only 2 days. He was struggling intellectually to take issue with HEM with at least 2 comments on the first page, & with at least 3 comments to me & 2 or 3 with Blown, on the second page. Hey, Blown & HEM are two of the sharpest BB posters you’ll find-me only average or below. He comes across as a sarcastic egotist who continually blows his own horn. He blissfully informed me that his Momma dated Gale Sayers & his sister cooked for WayneSimeon & yada yada yada. He basically told Blown to quit crying on the website of HIS choice. I swear, trying to dispute something with this guy is like dueling with an unarmed man & jaybate used to absolutely eat him alive. Most people just walk away from krap like this & he called out jb so much & often it was like stalking. Was really so comical because this guy is so dumb he doesn’t know it & he just continually yapped & jabbered at jb. He still, to this day doesn’t realize how obviously foolish, self serving, & confrontational he appeared & certainly still does.

At some point, we’ll create a “UK/Canadian English” language pack, and we’d remove the “english-isms” out of the default text, just to appease our friendly neighbours to the south.
I’m pretty confident I can reverse anything Thread Moderators could do, and I’m not really worried about everyone having thread rights granted them at a certain level. It’ll be a good thing.
Heck ya Truehawk, I see this match up as a definite advantage to KU. Smart is a beast but I think Selden can beat him. On the defensive end, Naadir can beat Forte and The Designer will be even better this year. He can beat Brown. That’s not to say we wont go 1 and 1 with OSU during the conference because its possible. OSU is really the only other team besides maybe Baylor that will give us any real challenge this year. But no more backflips in AFH for Mr Smart.

Answering a portion of my question: I called Dish Network and found that Kansas is still listed on their FullCourt package. So, the cable deal has not wrecked other means of access.
