Repelling the Vagabond Raiders

Are we ready for another milquetoast showing against the 15th rated offense in the NFL? After a kickass game against the Ravens, the game against the Patriots was anemic and uneventful, like the Charger game. But, NE does have the 9th ranked defense compared to KC's 14th ranked defense according to ESPN.

With a key game next week, unknown date and time, against the Bills, will Mahomes be content to do just enough or will the team play at its championship level? Mahomes is only the 9th ranked QB at 1134 yds; 5th in TDs with 11. Carr is 11th. KC needs to step up and bring its A game even though it could probably play at B- and beat the Raiders. Come on Andy, show us your NFL-best creative play calling. I think its time for the old fumblerooski.

Raiders are much improved. I expect it to be a close game although I will love to kick some Raider rear end in this one.

I really enjoy the mic'd up videos on Chiefs.com. The one with Tyreek Hill was fun; he makes a little sound when he cuts and catches the ball. I can't describe it, but he does a lot of talking during the game. Go Chiefs! Kick some Raider butt today.

Division rivalries aside, this could be a trap game for the Chiefs. Will they go all out, knowing that they've got to play the Bills on Thursday?
They're already one man down.

Well this is going to be tight. The refs are keeping it that way.

Carr looks good

Carr may be too good for the Chiefs' defense today.

Alex Smith is back playing for the Washington no names, but better than a derogatory name. Good for him. I wish him great success except against the Chiefs.

Deserved to lose tbh, poor effort.

Normally I'd say there's plenty of time for a comeback, but Mahomes is having an off day. Barely completing half of his passes.

@nwhawkfan no protection

Saw too many examples to even try to count where Mahomes could've safely ran for yardage to continue drives, but he instead chose not to.

@stoptheflop pretty sure Washington management knows that by calling them the Football Team:

A. They fire up the old schoolers and the Trumpers who want to keep "Redskins" , though their anger isnt directed at WFT.

B. they piss off the fans who dislike the new name but don't care about keeping "Redskins" , again not directed this anger at WFT

C. everyone will think whatever non offensive thing they choose is awesome after this is over

D. people would have complained at anything not "Redskins" out of the gate

I think they had to go this way.

@nwhawkfan He was better when he didn't have a $153 million dollar contract.

Oct 12, 2020 01:14 PM #15

@approxinfinity I think they came up with the name because "Washington We Don't Want To Upset Anybody In The Universe Because Everybody Is Crybabies" wouldn't fit on the helmet.

Oct 12, 2020 01:32 PM #16

@nuleafjhawk Yeah, that was their second choice.

Oct 12, 2020 02:11 PM #17

@Marco I guess I didn’t see all of those

@Crimsonorblue22 Not that I would trade him 😂
