Hope the players can come ready to play after all the trash talk this week.

Nov 23, 2020 12:58 AM #2

Nothing is more embarrassing than losing to a Carr twice in a year

Nov 23, 2020 01:12 AM #3

Sure be fun to go to a game there.

Nov 23, 2020 01:29 AM #4

well that's a sweet start. - -7-0 Las Vegas barely 3 minutes into the game

Nov 23, 2020 03:25 AM #5

Clark and Jones need to sit

Nov 23, 2020 03:35 AM #6

Swept by the Raiders. Carr has Spags figured out. Clown suit.

Nov 23, 2020 03:45 AM #7

Not over yet, but d is pretty bad. Jones is useless

Nov 23, 2020 04:02 AM #8

Still hoping jones makes a big okay to save this

Nov 23, 2020 04:02 AM #9

Play

Nov 23, 2020 04:19 AM #10

YOWSAH !

Nov 23, 2020 04:20 AM #11

Boom

Nov 23, 2020 04:20 AM #12

"Way to matrticulate the ball down the field, boys."

Nov 23, 2020 04:21 AM #13

And the D with the dagger !!!

Nov 23, 2020 04:21 AM #14

Never in doubt, right

Nov 23, 2020 04:23 AM #15

I missed the first half, but I figured this'd be a "last team to score wins" type of game anyway.

Nov 23, 2020 04:24 AM #16

Never give up on our O!🔥🔥

Nov 23, 2020 04:24 AM #17

Dirty dan

Nov 23, 2020 04:25 AM #18

This calls for a Glenlivet rocks.

Nov 23, 2020 04:28 AM #19

Patrick ! Your QB rating was only 102 this week. Yer slippin!

Nov 23, 2020 04:30 AM #20

@nwhawkfan our D sucks!

Trust me, you'd rather have the Chiefs defense than the Seattle D ! (Aside from the last game.)

Nov 23, 2020 04:33 AM #22

Off to my nightcap. If I don't catch y'all during the Gonzaga game, everybody have a good (and safe) Thanksgiving !

Nov 23, 2020 04:34 AM #23

@nwhawkfan back at ya!

Nov 23, 2020 01:41 PM #24

I am so grateful to have Mahomes as Chiefs QB.

Nov 23, 2020 02:25 PM #25

@AsadZ and Kelce, hill, big red and .......... now for the D🤬 kinda mad at them! Mahomes can't pull them out all the time, or can he?🤷‍♀️🏆 Did like dirty dans pick!🤫 that was our circling the field!

Nov 23, 2020 03:31 PM #26

Gruden and Carr have us figured out. Multiple TE sets to force us to have a shitty LB in, run the ball, and dump it off on a blitz to a mismatch.

Nov 23, 2020 05:24 PM #27

I'm old school. I think the NFL & Super Bowl MVP should be able to throw further than 5 yards. Oh wait - he makes too much money now. All he has to do is hand the ball off to the running backs.

Nov 23, 2020 06:04 PM #28

@nuleafjhawk what are you even talking about?

Nov 23, 2020 07:03 PM #29

@Kcmatt7 I don't know. You have to have a point to say something?

What I'm talking about is that the Chiefs offense is completely different (as in boring) from last year. Mahomes never throws a long ball any more. He's got two good running backs that are making him less spectacular as a QB. In my opinion.

Nov 24, 2020 11:56 AM #30

@nuleafjhawk I think every single Chief would prefer less excitement if it comes with a 90% winning percentage. PM got hurt twice last year being more spectacular.

But, in any event, I think it is damned exciting to see the LSU guy running--yet another weapon! As for PM, if you find him boring you may have missed the last 3 games. 11 TDs, 1136 yards passing, 122+ rating... Averaging over 300 yards per game this year: doesn't seem too pedestrian to me.

Nov 24, 2020 02:03 PM #31

@mayjay Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of his. But, you cannot tell me, if you watch every game, that he is fun to watch this year. It's not that hard to get 300 yards per game (I'm not looking at stats - but I saw that he attempted 45 passes against LV) when you complete 35 passes per game. Thirty-five short passes.

I'm happy that they're winning, but what happens when one of the running backs gets hurt?

Nov 24, 2020 03:52 PM #32

Watching mahomes in that last series was pretty dang fun! Game is never over with him. Plus he didn't need to leave much time for Carr.

Nov 25, 2020 02:49 AM #33

Literally if anyone else were having this same season we’d be in awe.

But because Pat did what he did two years ago we want more.

He has taken over as the front runner for the MVP and it's kinda blasé for some people lol.

Raiders hungover af after losing their superbowl.

They were awful against the Falcons

Nov 30, 2020 12:12 PM #37

I was, literally, thinking the same thing - they (especially Carr) looked hungover. With that in mind, is Vegas even a city - given the penchant that some NFL players have for partying, gambling and going to strip joints - where you can win consistently?

Was this week up to your standard?

Nov 30, 2020 06:30 PM #39

@Kcmatt7 I missed the game (4 hrs on I-95 to go 135 miles...), but it sure sounded boring. Hope Mahomes doesn't regress further.

Nov 30, 2020 08:00 PM #40

How fun is watching a surgeon operate? Gross!

Dec 01, 2020 02:07 PM #41

@Kcmatt7 LOL - I wasn't going to say anything, BUT - since you mentioned it. I was WAAAY happy in the 1st quarter. Then they went into Andy Reid's patented "wait and see" mode. Overall, I was pretty disappointed (discouraged?) that they had - what - 600 yards of offense and only won by 3.

They've got some work to do. But - honestly, wasnt that fun to watch him throw down the field ?? It sure was for me!

Dec 01, 2020 05:15 PM #42

@nuleafjhawk They came out playing single-high safety M2M. Which is why the first quarter was so electric.

Then they were forced to go cover two, and with the Chiefs it is basically cover 4 when you see how far off the CBs are lol.

Which is where you get the dink and dunk offense.

I was mostly mad at Andy for not going for it 4th and one the first drive. Pat had the fumble in the redzone too. The game could have been over in the first half if not for those two plays.

Dec 01, 2020 05:25 PM #43

@Kcmatt7 You think more than I do. (most people do!) I was totally perplexed about the 4th and one call.

Dec 01, 2020 08:08 PM #44

@Kcmatt7

Don't forget the 90-yard TD that should have been to Mecole Hardman that Mahomes mis-fired on. This game really should have not been close. I think the Chiefs get bored sometimes.

Dec 01, 2020 09:04 PM #45

@tis4tim I totally forgot about that. Yea I told a buddy that this was one of the most dominating 3 point wins you will ever see.

Dec 01, 2020 09:35 PM #46

@tis4tim Spot on with the "bored" comment. When we're down 10-14 points is when I feel the most confident. Truly.

Dec 01, 2020 10:52 PM #47

@Kcmatt7

Agreed. Watching that game you never felt like Tampa had a chance yet the scoreboard said otherwise.

Dec 01, 2020 10:59 PM #48

@nuleafjhawk

I'll tell you what: it's nice to have the world-beater QB on our side for once and a team that is not only built to win championships, but oozes with confidence. So much so that they are never out of it and, as evidenced by their SB run last year, never think they are out of it no matter how dire the circumstances.

I can't tell you how crushing it was for several decades watching us score 40 points and lose or watching a late scoring drive by the Chiefs to take the lead only to know how the movie ends with Elway or Manning or (fill-in-the-blank) on the other side of the ball, or needing a single first-down to ice the game and seeing us go 3-and-out, punt and lose.

The scenario we have with Mahomes and the Chiefs is sooooo refreshing. I hope the next 10-12 years go the way the past 3 years have gone.

Dec 02, 2020 02:44 AM #49

@tis4tim Don't forget the inspiring Elvis Grbac two-minute drills, needing 40 yards to get into FG range with no timeouts and throwing passes over the middle for 3 yards.

Dec 02, 2020 05:33 AM #50

@mayjay

I had forgotten. Thanks for the reminder.

Seriously, the only thing I really recall of Elvis Grbage was the season he got injured and missed something like 9 games. Rich Gannon filled in and won 7 or 8 in a row to get us into the playoffs. Grbage promptly returns from injury and Schottenheimer starts him that first playoff game insisting that he is the starter and you don’t lose your status due to injury.

So instead of going with the hot hand you play a guy whose been out for 9 weeks. Predictably, we lose that game and we’re out of the playoffs. I liked Marty but that was one of the most inexcusably bad decisions I can recall him making in his time with the Chiefs.

I remember people saying it was damned lucky for Lou Gehrig that Marty wasn't his manager.

Dec 03, 2020 04:41 PM #52

@mayjay

Would have been Wally Pipp-ed for sure!
