24 Blue Roses To Be Delivered...
Mar 12, 2021 09:50 PM #1

I'm usually not this petty... but...

I'd like to send a dozen blue roses to Calipari and K during the opening of the NCAA tournament, with a note saying we miss them.

On second thought... half blue, half crimson.

That's what I would send.

What would you send or do?

@drgnslayr Nothing since we may very well end up not playing in the NCAA Tournament either now.

@approxinfinity

Ha! I'll take the hit if we don't go... but at least we would have been invited!

I'm optimistic, like Self... we'll go!

Dear Coach K, sorry you and your 13-11 team featuring five Mcdonalds All Americans were robbed your rightful opportunity to claw your way past a tough mid major team with all of ESPN behind you. I fully expect you to overcome this, seeing as how you have overcome so much adversity every year. Hopefully the new crop of hamburger boys will grasp all the intangibles that you instill in your players.

Rock Chalk.

The Duke NCAA Tournament drama isn't over yet. If they somehow managed to end up as a first four out team, they could end up as a replacement team if teams from multiple bid leagues have to drop out.

Rece Davis was told that Duke will be able to play in the NCAA Tournament if they end up as an at-large (not happening) or a replacement team (possibility). So there is a potential scenario where Duke could end up replacing Kansas in the NCAA Tournament.

I agree it's unlikely, but I'm not going to rule anything out at this point until either tomorrow if Duke isn't a First Four Out team or Tuesday when the deadline for replacement teams to be swapped in happens if Duke is in the First Four group.

I'm not ruling anything out at this point when it comes to Duke and them being the NCAA's golden child.

For sure especially about Duke being the NCAA Golden Child - - ESPN just promoting the hell out of the possibility of them still being able to play, some of these people are just crazy. - -Duke , Duke , Duke. I'm sure they are wating with baited breath hoping thet either Ku OR Virginia can't make the NCAA and slide right in there - -they would get a really sweet seeding too replacing either one of us

@jayballer67 Another reason I won't rule Duke out completely yet is because Memphis and Utah St. are still alive in the conference tournaments with each team getting ready to tip in a few minutes.

Frankly, I'd like to send Calipari and UK a middle finger. But I'm not going to, want to keep both of them.
