Looking bright I'll say..

Yesterday's commitment of 4 star PG Bobby Pettiford gives KU a significant boost in the backcourt joining Dajuan Harris & Bryce Thompson. Self isn't done yet as high 4 star (possibly 5 star) PG Tyty Washington will likely end his recruitment in the next few weeks and it could be a favorable outcome for KU. In the class of 2022 Bill Self has already landed a commitment from 4 star combo guard Kyle Cuffe Jr out of New Jersey, a high flying, defensive minded guard & 4 star wing stud Gradey Dick. Should be fun to watch all these guys develop. Ty sign with the good guys!

Yeah even if we don't get TyTy we are in a solid spot at least. That's why Bill couldn't wait and had to go for Pettiford now.

Also who knows what is going on in the background with TyTy's recruitment. I have concerns to say the least...

VERY interesting that a 5* type guy ended up at Creighton to begin with.

Would still like to get him, but we will be fine. Bill will add more guys.

Before the fall hit I believe Washington was ranked in the bottom end of the Top 100, they probably sold him on replacing Zegarowski as well. Then he goes to AZ and absolutely kills it, moves up a ton and now is pushing for 5 start status. Big time improvement. Imagine if AAU was normal he would have been one of the stars and seen his recruitment go in different places

Just before he committed to Creighton his ranking hit the Top 40. Just seemed weird that he followed through with picking them. This is one you wonder about, the talent is undeniable and he would raise KU's ceiling a good deal coming here but I just hope the staff knows he's of good character and the people around him are as well.

Creighton does happen to pay rather well. One of the big "mid major" players though I guess they are Big East now.

Creighton is in the same conference as Villanova, UConn, and Georgetownbwhich are all programs that can recruit top 50 talent with relative ease. Creighton elevating their recruiting shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Same deal with Wichita St. being able to recruit a different caliber of player once they moved to the AAC.
