We good.
Oh right, basketball still exists. Let's go Jayhawks
Sherfield will go off tonight
Need Juando tonight
Right on cue
Non-shooting foul? lol
Refs suck
Dave man lol
Dave misses the dunk then the ball doesn't go in because he was holding onto the rim
Nice pass, Remy
Will Baker still :pile_of_poo:
Nice dave
Bad shot but it went in
Ball-fake would have been good there, Ochai
Defense looks pretty good though
Cb is fun to watch
The D looks like it is coming into conference play form

Different looking McCormack tonight. I like it.
That's all Dave needs to do. Take his time and just shoot that hook
2 pt defense better with Dave, 3pt defense worse.
Posting up CB π
Wow flop
CB!!!!
CB has gotten a lot better at finishing
Wow that's freaking big time!!!!
πͺπͺπͺ
CB has officially hacked the matrix
lol Remy
Lol lucky CB didnβt get a Gould called there
I appreciate that Remy is trying to be a facilitator.
Stone hands
Problems on both ends when Jalen comes in. Now we get the Jalen Mitch combo. :beer_mug:
Honestly just keep Juan on Sherfield all night.
MITCH
That pass
Can't watch. Old computer won't play ESPN+, phone casting to TV too slow. Aggravated can't watch. Will miss more KU games this year than in a long time.
Juando on both ends baby

Yeah he has bought in a bit. He has never been an efficient scorer so in a way I am glad. He can get a tough bucket when needed obviously.
Pleasantly surprised. Came ready to play
Wow Kentucky was up 20 when I turned it off
Wilson has a chance to make our offense more dynamic, but Jalen needs to play defense too
Love that from Dajuan. Gotta make them respect you.

On one hand yes, on the other hand he can't go left which limits the offense.
@BeddieKU23 Hilarious because MU is really bad!
Early JCL sighting :eyes:
How much longer is Pettiford out?
2nd made three of the year for a Nevada player? Clockwork
Bill Self loves line-ups that can't score.
Flop
Way too much Jalen Mitch combo, for reference. Extra struggle because Harris is in with them. 3 non-scorers...
Different hair style, different Dave.

Ffs dave
I watched Joel Embiid the other night. It doesn't make Dave look any better.
Dave can't shoot this yr
3 minute scoring drought against this Nevada team...
Not looking forward to Baylor. Can't even make Scot Drew jokes anymore.
I think we match up with okay with Baylor tbh. Their bigs don't really score a ton
Hey that wide open Harris three looked good
Agree, this is the best Remy has looked in terms of contributing to winning basketball.
Obviously Hurley didn't hold him accountable.
Dave would miss layups on a 5 footer
Oh great, more Mitch/Jalen
Help your teammate, guys
Uh oh
Tough to go 0 for 3 or 4 on a possession....

Yeah I mean hey. Best frosh wins I guess
YO REMY

The more I see him play, the more I realize he just isn't ready for this level of ball yet. He will get there just not this year. Been a great practice player, staff loves him so that is not the issue.
Remy is passing up the good and forcing passes,
We can't have Wilson and Clemence in the same lineup.

Badgers up by 10 at the half, Jayhawks up by 12, but in the upset of the day, the Badgers outscoring the Jayhawks.
We're shooting 57%. How is it that we're not blowing out this team?
Because Bill thinks it's a good idea to play Harris, Mitch, and Jalen at the same time.
ESPN has us projected as the 2 seed in Midwest with Purdue as the 1 . I donβt think there is much diff with that and being the 1.
@approxinfinity 2 seed rather

Juan always passes it into peoples shooting pocket on the perimeter. Itβs almost effortless. Last one was across the body didnβt pivot no look to baseline Remy right into his pocket. Juan and Bobby gonna be a fun duo.
@approxinfinity He passes it on time, too. A lot of other players passes are late. It makes the offense stall when the passes come late.
That's something I've noticed Pettiford does well too
KU only has 2 bench pts, Lightfoot. That's one reason Nevada is staying fairly close

If Juan scores, it's just a bonus. It is crystal clear by now that he is critical to the flow of the offense. He is a very good ball handler and passer, and he doesn't turn the ball over. KU TOs are way down from previous years, and that is because we have two true guards that don't force passes (especially into the paint)....

That is the crux of the issue. Och and CB are better overall performers at the 3/4 spots and are going to get 30++ mpg. Probably just 15 mpg subbing for them. The real minutes are at the 5. But he doesn't want to play a back to the basket role and HCBS doesn't see the fit. They're both obstinate. Jalen could get 20 minutes subbing for Dave, but when he is in, the offensive mindset would need to shift - open up the middle even more than with Dave or Mitch....

Well, this is now an established team. With Pettiford out, that pretty much leaves Mitch and Jalen as the main guys off the bench. Iβd be fine if Coleman Lands never played again. 25 year old dude shooting bricks is painful to watch.
