Their big transfer that came from Minnesota that was All Big 10 last season.

Carr and Remy are both doing much worse in terms of stats which is not exactly a surprise as both are now playing for demanding coaches on better teams. At least Remy has bought in, he was having a lot of fun against Nevada.

I can’t remember the last time I saw someone actually leave mid season. At least a starter on a good team

@Kcmatt7 Lord only knows what the hell is going on down there, but this talk was coming from Texas people.

@BShark I kind of thought that the new system for transfers in combination with NIL could cause this kind of a thing. Players staying for an extra year because of an NIL deal but basically hating their new situation.

Probably some truth to it. If their season goes sideways I wouldn't be shocked to see that come true.

The kid from Wisconsin left in late January 2 years ago. He was a starter but is at valpo now, Kobe King. The duke kid Jalen Johnson from Wisconsin too. Seems to be a theme here!

@Kcmatt7 Yeah, he's not a basketball player, but look at Quinn Ewers. Top hs qb that reclassed and signed at Ohio State, banked a huge NIL deal. Got beat out by Stroud, so he left for Austin before the end of the season (and I don't blame him). I think he has four years of eligibility left, new NIL deal to follow.

It is not the greatest case study example, not even close, but that they are going to have to tweek the rules - especially in basketball - there is no doubt.
