Weird I posted this about 4 minutes ago but it says 21 minutes ago.

Just at the basic level you'd think a cowboy would have the upper hand over a fictional bird any day of the week.

As far as Big 12 rivals go I've never minded OSU. I actually wish they were a consistently competitive team instead of just a team that gets up for us when we're in town.

I've been to all 48 contiguous states, but the only time I was in Oklahoma was when I was at KU and went on a field trip to Big Bend and drove through the state. Got to spend 6 extra hours in OKCity after our KU van broke down. But never set foot in the state since.

In theory, the passing around the perimeter should set up the post feed, but the perimeter passing is slow, clunky, and inaccurate so it doesn't really.

My ESPN box score was froze on 2:36 and it said KU 74-63. So the final 2:36 neither team scored. We didn't even attempt a shot in that time period. We did pad a big rebounding night stat in that last 156 seconds though. 50 rebounds! 44% overall shooting after all of that ugly.

8 game win streak. Good to start conference play with a win.

Love getting the W in Stoolwater. That's a place that has been rough for us too many times. The blown lead and the 9 minute drought sucked, but we managed to come back, and post a double digit victory. No doubt we have issues. We certainly don't look like the 6th best team in the country. But, we live to fight another day. Rock Chalk.

The betting spread was 6.5 in favor of KU. Few thought it would be a blowout. Were it not for the last 9 or so minutes of the 1st half, it appears the margin of victory would have been much greater. I’m very happy with the 11 point win against OSU at their place!

Definitely benefitted playing an OSU team that couldn't practice much and had a 2 week covid issue. Had we faced them at a different time who knows but it sure felt good to leave there with a W considering how it went

@mayjay That is really remarkable. Can you imagine being that guy? 9 minutes left in half and whatever hunch caused me to drop a bunch of money on something as unlikely as that? That must have been fun to watch if you're that guy.

Has anyone been brave enough to watch the end of the Ok St game again? What the hell? Not one of our ballhandlers could make an uncontested pass; nor were our players smart enough to move toward the pass instead of just waiting on it. KU looked like clowns trying to close out the decided game. Are we concluding the Ok St players were just outplaying KU or that our ballhandlers were inept. There are going to be tighter games at the end where one bad pass or one stolen pass costs us the game.
