Remy playing at 60 or 70% if you believe dat:dizzy_face:

Zach out another week or so

Bobby playing through his injury. Playing 10 minutes was his max. Doesn't sound like he will be healthy enough the rest of the season.

Last but not least Dave McCormack now listed with a foot injury. Self says he is not 100% and won't be the rest of the season.

Pretty much how every season goes at some point.

I’m not buying any of this except Bobby and Zach

@Kcmatt7

We all know he's mastered what to say to the media at this point

I'd believe Dave is nicked up a bit.

Bobby situation really sucks. Hope he fully recovers.

Is it like a hernia thing with Bobby? that may require surgery.

Feb 01, 2022 10:37 AM #6

@BeddieKU23 Dave played the USC game on a broken foot, and had surgery last off season. Remy isn't close to being 100%.

Dave is sometimes able to jump (19/15) and sometimes struggles to run. Definitely sounds like an injury. Remy looks like he is galloping half the time. I thought maybe that was just his style of movement but could point to the knee not being 100%.

Probably still related to the abdominal strain he dealt with a while back. That's an injury that can take a long time to get back to 100%

Problem with those is you think you are better until you find out you aren't and then start the process all over again.

Did Dave aggravate the injury yesterday, he started real strong but did not come back in for a long time after which he seemed like a different player. He seemed to be wobbling a bit.

He was wobbling by the end of the Texas game too.

@AsadZ In the postgame, Self said Dave was fine at the beginning of the game, but not great. He was certainly not impressed with Dave's defense on Groves, and said Zach was the only big that could defend (hedge screen then get back). I got the idea Dave's defense was why he sat so much, not an aggravated injury (my hypothesis too, before hearing coach answer the press).

Dave's injury is his foot which has limited his mobility quite a bit this season. With a bad foot, Dave hasn't been able to guard the way he did last season when he became a competent defender.

I saw Mitch go off the floor holding his chest after Groves put his shoulder into his ribs hard. He never saw the floor again and I am not sure if that was because he was not playing well (he was’t) or if he was hurt. Anyone have any info?

Feb 13, 2022 07:43 PM #23

@Kubie I saw that too. Mitch took several hard shots to the torso on that same play, and indeed was grabbing his chest on the way back to the bench, but I didn't hear anything about it afterwards.

He most likely got the wind knocked out of him
