• First, I know the dude takes a lot of heat, mostly deserved. But getting Gavin Potter back was big for the LB unit. The staff expects a big jump from him considering how he played the last part of 2021.

• Gilyard and Young are living up to the billing so far.

• DL projects to be one of the most improved groups. Eddie Wilson and Sam Burt weren't healthy most of last year. The gains for the underclassmen are already documented. End still a bit of a concern, especially the SDE spot.

• Sevion Morrison kind of got lost in the shuffle with Ky Thomas, but he might be the best back on the roster in terms of versatility and athleticism

• WR still a concern. Really need someone to step up and be a #1. Nobody has yet.

• Still looking for a S, OT, and DE in the portal. Maybe a DT if a good one falls in our lap.

Any update on why Potter had left? Was he planning to transfer?

Hey Farmer did you happen to catch any of Coach Lleipolds interview was about 21 minutes. Had to come away very impressed again. One thing that I liked was he was asked about one thing that might has stuck out to him this spring. - - He said the teams confidence in the defense - -how they are playing a lot more confidence in their decisions - - a lot more aggressive- - the guy is just sharp . Really glad we got him

Next Saturday! Oh yeah, TK Williams is in the portal now (or will be very shortly) so there are 4 spots left for portal guys.
