Harry Hiller in 1st after 1 day of the NCAA mens championship. Team is in 4th, 4 strokes behind. Looks like day 1 of a 4 day tournament. Not sure the format, but promising start.
Not hoops, but there is no college golf thread either.

If they qualify for the match play that’d be a huge accomplishment. They are solid but aren’t expected to be top 8 but that’s why you go play and find out!

@kuballin10 After I posted I looked at the team page at KU Athletics and realized this 1st day result is a bit of an outlier. Some team wins, but lots of 4ths and 5ths in there as well.

KU was tied for 4th after the first day. Hiller had a spectacular first day.
The course is at Grayhawk, and that rhymes with...

Team took a big turn for the worst, especially Hiller who went +11.

When I was at KU way back when...I lived across the hall from two KU golfers. Absolute complete stoners. Great, fun guys, but no clue how they competed! :)
