Chiefs - Bills: The Rematch

Hope this one doesn't go to OT. After yesterday's games I don't know if I can deal with much more stomach-churning.

Already plenty of surprises in the early games. Steelers step up and beat Tampa Bay. The Jets knock off the Packers at Lambeau. Two more nails into the coffins of Brady & Rodgers' careers.

And it looks like the Giants are for real. (Oh, joy...now the New York-centric national media can jump off the Mets/Yankees bandwagon and directly onto the Jets/Giants. Let the pre-Super Bowl hype begin. Stephen A. Smith must be turning cartwheels. )

WOW ! Butker from 62, with plenty of room to spare. A Chiefs record !

Guess he's back.

Except when they give us a break.

Have a nice trip !

Mahomes. Jeez. Cmon.
You’re a vet now. Make smart decisions.

Crap. Rookie/inexperienced corners cost the Chiefs today.

What a weekend. Just...gutted.

Hoping for better next week.

To me Bills are more talented on both sides.

We are still not able to generate much pressure on QBs, look at what Von Miller did the entire game.

Run game has disappeared, CEH was a non-factor.

Not fair to blame rookie CBs.

Skill position rankings advantage in my opinion

QB: close, but edge to Chiefs

RB: should be Chiefs, didn’t show it, or give it a chance

WR: Bills by far

TE: Chiefs by far

General defensive advantage

Bills

So, hard for me to say the Bills are more talented on both sides of the ball. One side for sure!

I think Bills RBs are more talented than Chiefs

Also is it me or does anyone else think that Mahomes seemed a bit slower than his normal self.

This could also be attributed to Bills speedy defenders.

I'm honestly just writing off the game as no big deal and not reading much into it. It was a good game either team could have won. Buffalo has a better roster (especially on D) and so it isn't shocking to see this outcome.

I do think if the Chiefs don't look to upgrade the roster at the trade deadline they are fools though. They have 13 picks in 23 and there are a half dozen teams already out of it 6 weeks in. Find a couple of bargains for late round picks and upgrade the roster.

Same here. good game, with two of the premier teams. Onward. Still wanted to win though!

@Kcmatt7 I'd like for them to look at DE and WR.

@rockchalkjayhawk Seems like the easy and obvious choice.

But I would maybe wait and see what happens with the Cardinals the next 2 weeks... Have to imagine they go full on fire sale if they are 2-6. That defense is full of talent on good contracts. Budda Baker, Isaiah Simmons, JJ Watt, Markus Golden, and Byron Murphy are all guys I'd be happy to have on our roster.
