Ok. This is a stretch for this category, but it's B12 fball, so bear with me.
I think TCU has knocked out enough QBs by pile driving shoulders into the ground that it's not a coincidence. These guys are trying to hurt QBs and they need to face some consequences.
I don't know what penalty is appropriate. I only know what they have done is complete BS and I hope something very untoward happens to them.

The KSU games there was no malcontent. Daniels one was total freak accident where he held onto the ball trying to make a play.
OU one was dirty.
It seems like it is just luck going their way this year. But that’s jmo.
The Daniels one was not an accident. Looked very similar to the way the KSU QB was pile-driven by a 300-pounder into the turf when he was already down. Which looked similar to the way the OU QB was injured. It's a pattern.
Is it illegal? Not explicitly. It's a loophole they are exploiting. Reminds me of the Houston Astros. Maybe be a Texas-sports thing?

Not related to shenanigans, but what does Sonny Dykes have to do to sell out the TCU stadium? 8 and 0, ranked #7 and playing in-state rival, TexTech, but the stadium is only 2/3's full. Maybe the early start time, but where are you Lizard fans?

Not very big. They have one of the smallest alumni bases among P5 schools and is largely in the DFW metroplex. I've lived in Houston for 30 years and can count on one hand the number of TCU alums I've met over that time.
Northwestern is kind of the same way in the Chicago area. Sports media will talk about them but it's rarely a big story. When they finally made the dance a few years back it was pretty big. They're building a privately financed state of the art football stadium that will be much talked about when it opens but it will only hold like 35,000.
Combining the theme of the original post, about TCU's injurious play, with the discussion about their small attendance and limited alumni base...is it possible that there is a disproportionate percentage of orthopedic surgeons who secretly root for the Horned Frogs?

The Daniels hit wasn't dirty. Because Jalon Daniels is so elusive, guys are going to naturally come flying in to help finish the tackle. The TCU player that landed on him was already pursuing to make the play if Daniels escapes the tackle. Daniels didn't, and landed awkwardly. That's not dirty.
In truth, the only hit that was clearly dirty was the one on Gabriel. He was sliding. The others were just normal plays.
Bryce Young got hurt this year on a similar play. QBs have to remember to protect their shoulder when they are falling or getting tackled, particularly close to the sidelines, where the grass/turf tends to have less give because it is more compact from people constantly standing there.
