Nov 12, 2022 07:58 PM #2

And how 'bout those Mizzou Tigers ! Gave up 66 points and 728 yards to Tennessee. Caught 'em on a bad week I guess. Har !

Now who's going bowling and who ain't ?

Oklahoma a mess - -WV beat them just now 23-20

Nov 12, 2022 08:16 PM #5

@nwhawkfan - love it. Mizzou must now beat New Mexico State and Arkansas to go bowling! NMSU is at a horrible team…

Nov 13, 2022 03:03 AM #6

Down goes Oregon. The Pac12 will once again miss the playoffs in all likelihood.

Nov 13, 2022 03:12 AM #7

TCU beats Texas 17-10 to move to 10-0 and clinch a spot in the Big 12 championship game.

Nov 13, 2022 03:18 AM #8

@Texas-Hawk-10 That UW Husky win over the Ducks eliminates one more team that could've caught TCU in the playoff race.

That leaves Tennessee as the only team with a realistic chance to catch them, assuming TCU runs the table.

A snow game going on in Reno between Boise St. and Nevada on CBS Sports.

Nov 20, 2022 03:04 AM #10

Ok, I am so excited that Tenn is getting slaughtered by South Carolina. I am really pulling for TCU to go undefeated and make the CFP playoffs. I think it will help the conference, and will let folks know we don't need OU to be nationally relevant in football. I'm sick of the SEC heads chirping that the Vols should be ahead of the Frogs.

@Jethro also guarantees KU a Big 12 contracted bowl. Should mean a bigger crowd.

80% of the B12 are bowl eligible. That's almost unheard of.

Nov 20, 2022 03:15 AM #13

@Jethro right? Such a deep league. Which puts our season in greater context. Other than today we’ve been in every single game in a heck of a league

Nov 20, 2022 06:50 PM #14

Some really good games on toay. - -All on ESPN. - -at 2:30 we have Virginia vs Illinois- - -4:30 we have Baylor & UCLA--- at 6:30 Gonzaga & Kentucky -- then another good one on at 8:30 - -a day full of good games

Iowa had a chance to clinch the B10 West today against Nebraska and they ended up losing 24-17 to open the door for Purdue to reach the B10 title game.

Nov 26, 2022 12:04 AM #16

Missouri upset Arkansas to reach bowl eligibility today and I've seen a lot of bowl projections have KU-Missouri in the Liberty Bowl.

Nov 26, 2022 12:05 AM #17

Texas beat Baylor to keep their B12 title hopes alive that rest on us beating KSU tomorrow night. I would now like to see a TCU-Texas rematch in Dallas rather than a battle of purple teams.

Nov 26, 2022 01:51 AM #18

I’d hate to be a Texas fan depending on KU to beat KSU in football. Yikes. They typically wax KU like it’s their national championship. It’s crazy they get hyped like KU is relevant every year. Leipold is correct it’s time to hold up our end of the deal, but that may be a year off.

I think it'll be a much more competitive game than last week. Probably a KSU win, but I think KU covers.

Suppose to be a really good chance of rain too.

Nov 26, 2022 01:12 PM #21

@Crimsonorblue22 Can’t buy a rain in SW Kansas. Driest year in record in Garden City, Dodge isn’t far behind.

I can't believe TCU ran the same hand off on third and fourth downs in OT right into the line. When a play doesn't work, why do some OCs repeat the same play? KU did this too many times when our offense was struggling; ran the ball into the defensive line for little gain. I sure hope TCU will still get into the playoffs.

Dec 03, 2022 09:26 PM #25

Yeah, I would’ve run a sneak on 4th down. Maybe 3rd too.

Dec 03, 2022 11:31 PM #26

On the previous drive, Max Duggan had run for like 95 yards and completed a 2-pt conversion to tie the game. It's kind of shocking they took the ball out of his hands on 3rd and 4th down in overtime.

Also, the spot of the ball after 2nd down was terrible (Duggan looked like he was about an inch short of a TD and the ball was spotted almost a yard short of the goal line), and on 3rd down the overhead view looked like the ball crossed the goal line. Playcalling was terrible, but TCU fans have a right to be mad about those spots imo.

TCU should still get into the playoff though.

Rutgers just beat the crap out of Indiana in Basketball today - -63 - -48 - had to do a double take on that one

Dec 03, 2022 11:53 PM #28

Santee Claus came early for K/Sttraight - Happy Fricken TCU Christmas. - -I could not believe you have truly a foot to go for the TD in over time two downs to drive it in and your staff makes those calls.

Like Herbstreet was saying why would you hand off to a back that's 5 yards deep -when all you to do is run Duggan they were not going to keep him out. -You hand off like that , you take the chance of a fumble - a TFL - just keep the dam ball and go.

I also believe that if TCU had scored that TD in overtime - - it's ove. - -I truly feel that if TCU would of scored there is no way K/State finds the end zone in overtime - -I just don't

Oklahoma and Texas both lose on the same day. Again. Karma.

(Don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out, boys...)

Only thing is right now those guys still represented the Big 12 this year - -this league SUCKS in bowl games this year - -gives us a really bad look as a conference

Dec 30, 2022 06:17 PM #32

Lol. I kinda agree with you there , I don't think they stand a snow balls's chance in hell . stepping onto a totally different stage. - -I won't lie KSU is pretty decent team - -BUT NOT Alabama decent. I think they will be shown - -YOUR NOT THERE YET BUBBA. - - I think Young for Alabama will have an absolute hay day against those guys.

I'd rather see the B12 go 1-1 tomorrow with the B12 winning the game in Phoenix.
