I guess Swain said he was at like Half of the KU games this Season and wants to play for an offense exactly like JD plays. - -would be huge. - -He has a receiver that we are also in on /offered - pretty decent receiver. - - -Taashi Braceful -- over 2 seasons 90 catch's 1600 yards and 17 TD'S - -would take - -Then I think we are sitting really well with Canady- - personally I think he is ours to lose. - -Thats just a tip but got me looking forward. - What you think Farmer ? - -Input. - I think we could have a really good haul in 24

Well now that it looks like our 2023 is done -- wl they have a safety coming in for an official this weekend - but looks like time to start focusing on our 2024 targets.

Maybe I have my tinted Crimson & Blues on a little heavy but dam I'm getting so excited for this KU team . Am I crazy or what lol ? - I just get this feel that 2024 could line up pretty well for us if the cards fall right, got some studs in the class - - In state kids which I think we are really making in roads with for sure.

Well quite a different story - - who knows - -of course a visit is far from commitment. -He has been to the KU Campus too so who knows - I really not by far counting on him , just glad to see our name even being mentioned or considered - -a few yeas back they would of laughed in our face if were to try and even knock on their door/

Probably a handful. Counting the fall enrollees we’re over by a few. I’d look at the specialists for a couple and maybe a TE and WR. I think we’re over the numbers at those spots.

Ya I Read where Coach said we WERE AT OUR LIMIT. Yet a we know now spring football over the guys kinda getting a feel where they stand with the team. - I think we lose possibly right around 10

Hey Farmer Jayhawk , not sure if you've seen this or not but things looking good for the possibility of us getting a commit froma pretty good linebacker. We picked up a Crystal Ball for Zavier Hamilto out of Narvarre Florida.

You see Farmer , this is exactly what I've been talking about. -The quality of Athlete this Coaching staff is now bringing in to Ku. is just night and day from a decade ago. They do a great job of getting these kids to believe or to buy into what Coach is doing here, and they can be /play a big part of the turnaround.

I know or so I've heard we are sitting in good shape with several top notch players. Would love to be able to persuade DeShawn Warner to join his team mates , Karmara & Gibson. Good to see we going head to head with better Competition. Be interesting to see just how soon they commit.

@jayballer67 I feel really really good about him. Some dudes just want to head home and think things over before pulling the trigger. I know Lance and co tell guys only commit if you’re 100% in. Don’t want any decommits to mess up their plan. Like right now they told all other corners on the board they’re done at CB so they won’t take any other visitors, let alone commits. They’re extremely methodical and organized in recruiting and they stick to it. There’s some wiggle, though. Like they’d take Bogonowski or Marsh and figure out the numbers later but those are rare exceptions.

Dam , with the Alexander commit , KU jumped from 59th in the Nation recruiting to 50 th in the Nation---- we are 9th in Big 12 recruiting right behind those other guys other guys out of Manhattan at 49

Farmer, just got through watching some more film on Stewart, the headline says like another KU player. - -I watched and to me, see what you think - Harry to me reminds me of Daniel HiShaw , got good power, and speed - -little quicker I think then HiShaw , but buddy this kid can take & shake off some hits - - -got some strength -- I like him - I like him A LOT.

Dang Farmer you believe we have a shot for Brinkley ? - That would a very nice addition. I'm tellin you Coach & staff sure knew what they needed for sure and that was - - " HELP " & lots of it in the defensive back field - -Edge . with the commits we got assuming and hoping we can hang onto these guys our Defense will be much improved in the next year or two for sure - -as a matter of fact I would be willing to bet it's gonna be ugly good before long, that Defensive Backfield gonna be mean ugly. - - -big time hitters , GUYS THAT CAN CLOSE, FAST. , & when they hit ya -your gonna know you have been hit.

If KU could get a pipeline out of Katy HS, then holy hell on some of the players KU could get from there. For those who know nothing about HS football in Texas, Katy is the biggest powerhouse in the Houston area and is a toss up with Southlake Carroll for most dominant program in the state at the 6A level. Each of those schools has won 8 state titles in football which is tied for most at the highest classification level on Texas amd tied for second most overall.

Idk if we can get Bogo but man if we do this class will be incredible.

Buddy this class is on the verge of insane. these guys recruiting Bogo too and some said kind of interesting Bogo tweeted out as soon as Brinkly committed- -showed Bogo in Ku uni at this point with this staff I'll neve say never to anyone - - including Marsh.

Matt Tait stated and have to agree, Brinkley is the type of player that could open the flood gates for other players in the future too.
I don't care what we have to do we have to make sure w hang onto this staff as to where they don't want to leave. L says upgrade the Stadium - -we DO IT- - he says give raises to his assistants - -w DO IT - but dammit Leipold can't recruit -that's his weakness remember -- I call BS

Harrison Utley one of our commits is from Oklahoma, he said growing up it was his life dream to go to OU. - -Well Harrison, recently received a offer from OU to play football since committing to KU - it happens , anyway Harrison said as much as he appreciated the offer that he was here to re-affirm his commitment to KU

Harrison said he believes in the KU Coach's & he believes in the program and the way it was going and wanted to be a part - he is staying put. now not to say that's going to keep OU for trying again BUT just class from the kid , earned my respect for sure- -just don't see that especially here at KU. hope this will be the way with the rest of the guys when other. schools come in and try to flip them. Things such as this just make me feel good. - -hope w can hold this lass together. other guys put on notice - - Harrison believes hope you do too. - Says a lot for the staff they gotta really be selling the program

Read where Kansas # 1 rated player Micheal Bog- is going to make his vist to KU at the end o the month the staff has invited him to a BBQ they are having , MB stated that probably KU had been the School tht recruited him the hardest , and that KU probably was the School that showed him the most love , and how all the recruits had reached out /tweeted him.

That's always good to hear, then w just got to get ahead of OU. - Read some said they think if he was super interested in OU he would of committed in the Spring. -I'm beginning to think it's either us or K/State

I know repeating myself but once again I can't stress enough how much Coach L impresses me -The guy has just got it , you can really tell how invested he is in this program. Every time he speaks just like - - he gets it , was talking about what the new weight room means to the program - - the players and such and talking about how it effects KU in the future, and how it helps recruiting - -Guy is just Class . Rubs off on his staff too , Coach Gildersleeve was all giddy about his ne weight room explaining the benefits of it- - things looking up with this group for sure.

that's good to hear, we have had pretty good luck so far when it comes to attrition de-commits. Dec 15 I think is Early Signing right ? --can't gt here fast enough. Another lineman ill be good too, High School or portal ? - Sure wish we could end up Boganoswki soon also.

Ya I've seen who you were talking about - -we were in on him before , like you said things looking good for him. - Also saw about Boganowski , dammit lol. Well at least he isn't going down the pike to that othere school. They thought they had him all wrapped up in a nice little package.

Also seen a very positive post where one of our commits Carter Lavrusky hsa made a huge jump in the rankings. -Is now rated the 35th OT in the class , good to hear.

Also about our other guy like you mentioned our boy from Arizona looks pretty good about sticking as he tweeted out to the linemen that we expect is going to announce for us Thursday- -He Warner tweeted out - -come home Dawg with little Crimson and Blue hearts , he doesn't sound like a guy thats de-committing.

Boy oh boy I am so jacked for our class 2024 recruits. If they can translate that talent they have displayed in High School over to the College game , and all sign and sources say they will - -A big part of it is our Dessert Edge recruits from Arizona - -Oh Bubba.

First though Austin Alexander has been upgraded to a 4 star , which gives KU-- FIVE four star recruits which the reporter he had been reporting on the KU scene for quite awhile and this is the best class that he has seen since 1999.

Then comes the REAL STUD of the class - - -Deshaun Warne from Dessert edge. - -The kid just got invited to the All American bowl - -& was named the 2023 Curly Culp defensive lineman of the year aw
absolute stud. - - some of his line for the yr , he recorded - - -20 TFL's - - -16 sacks - - 2 Int's - - & 7 forced fumbles - pretty impressive line. He is going to be one of the early enrollee too - -Early signing can't get here soon enough - - -ROCK CHALK

I'm not trying to say he is an arterio- - just saying had problems with the law in this gambling crap - -who is to say can't happen again or worse ? -- with our track record of some things that have happened with players if it happens, just another back eye for the School

Question being also we really not that bad of shape where we are in a major need of another TE. - Just think that Scholi could of been saved for more important need like D-Line or linebacker position , that's all

kind of hard to believe just how far we have come. - -Remember when we were recruiting players who were not even p-5 offers and competing against smaller schools ? - -Now we going to war with some of the big boys for recruits and were winning a fair share of them.

We going against major league Schools now , schools like Iowa , Michigan , Auburn , Florida , Tenn , Georgia , Oklahoma , LSU , USC , Cal , Oreg St , Oreg , Washington , Penn St , Texas A & m - to name some. - - wasn't that long ago we couldn't even get these kid of recruits to acknowledge us - -now we knocking on the door s and they are not only answering the door were getting in - -Love this staff - -love the team and the turnaround -- -ROCK CHALK

Ya , think he has a chance to be really good. Also some others that stick out , - - Austin Alexander , one of the top CB'S in the 24 class - -12 other P-5 offers , like Iowa , Michigan , USC , & Wisc to name a few of them - - I think Harry Stewart might be a nice surprise , good RB - then we have Jalen Todd, think he had just about everyone recruiting him - over 30 offers from many impressive Schools that we won the
battle.

I think Damani Maxson got a good chance to be very solid for us - Then I think a close race for the cream of the crop between two players. - - -Deshawn Warner , kid is an absolute stud, DE - had over 16 other offers and was stated one of the better edge prospects in the 24 class -if we put him on one side and then Dakyus Brinkley on the other could be holy terror, cause havoc on QB for some time to come. - Then the other one I think is up there with Warne for the best of class is our incoming QB. , had over 20 other offers, finished 2nd in the State of Michigan for Most Valuable player in the State, a lot thought he hsould of been THE most vluable player Farmer. - -word is that just another JD-6 only faster - had schools like Michigan , Kentucky , Ol Miss and others. - I'm pumped about these guys Farmeer, future looking bright.

Got our third portal transfer DE --- - Dylan Wudke - -pretty solid stats , played last year at Youngstown St. - -6'4 -will just have the one year, hope he makes the most out of it.

Got a really great start to signings. - -looks like we got or committed 17 High School and 3 portal players. -- Just waiting on only 4 left high school kids. - One big one yet to send his letter- -Austin Alexander- -- come on Big fella we need you in the Nation. - one of the top CB's i the 224 class, hs offers from Iowa , Michigan USC & Wisc to name a few

We got a couple of our BIG STUDS already - -we got our QB , first one to sign at like 608 this morning - -HUGE, kid going to be incredible. , some services name him a the MOP in the State of Michigan , led his team to the 6 A title, 3rd ranked overall player in the State of Michigan.

Then we got out Big time player- - Deshawn Warner this kid - -wow - -been invited to the All American game , had 16 sacks this season , highest rated recruit KU has ever gotten in the inernet eera
ranked the # 148th best overall player in the Nation - -held off Ohio St & Michigan for him- - they tried really hard to get him to visit -but NOPE

One other that was a huge get in this class is Dakyus Brinkley -4 *- DE- - incredible player. Can't wait to see Warner on one end and Brinkly on the othre - -mercy.

Had offers from Bay , Oklahoma , Oreg , Penn St , Texas , Texa A & M to name a few. - -LOVE THIS CLASS

Huge get for our team for THIS Season today. - -Got the commit from a kid e targeted through the portal , he was rated as the 89th ranked player coming out of High School # sixth ranked interior lineman coming out of High School Was recruited by Auburn , Georgia , LSU , Okla , Oreg & Texas

Bryce Foster a Center from Teas A & M - -started all 12 games as a Freshman, played four games I believe then got hurt his Soph yr and then took Medical Redshirt -- has a nick name of Mountain - -understandable , kid is huge - -6'5 - -and 330 lbs

The addition of this kid really solidifies our O-Line , our O-Line gonna be really solid , This allows Ford to move back out to Guard instead where he graded out as a top 5 guard in the Big 12 - - Foster who was named All Freshman team in the SEC by multiple outlets , made multiple Fr all American teams Logan Brown , who is also really big and former 5 * player , then you have Cabledo anchoring line. O-Line should be a major bonus we have capable back ups also , looking really solid to help protect our QB & Backs -- you have to love this

I'm wondering if anyone has seen a projected depth chart? Or, is someone brave enough to put one together? I'm ready to get to know our guys during these dog days of summer.
