So UMizzery alum Jontay Porter earns a lifetime ban from the NBA for providing inside info to gamblers and for altering his performances to ensure the outcome of some prop bets on him.

Definitely heightens our awareness that stupidity keeps reaching new levels of accomplishment. Undrafted, works his way through ups and downs to earning a couple mil, and manages to blow his future.

Who ever would have suspected that the marriage of sports and legal gambling could go bad...

@mayjay this is a highly religious, home schooled family. They were all good players.

@Crimsonorblue22 If he was a moral and self-disciplined kid, something obviously got lost somewhere along the way. But in my experience with people who drastically throw it all away, it isn't usually a one-time disregard of what they are taught. It is usually just the first time they get caught.
