Awesome!

Maybe those Shaq minutes vs NC State were thanks for the memories?

My only question to this is why is he doing this now ? -- if he is going to redshirt why not next Season ? - - -not meaning no harm , no foul , genuinely curious and don't understand.- the reasoning behind it.

Free practice, getting a head start. Learning from our leaders.

3 months of practice and getting into the system would seem to be a good thing

Sounds awesome! Maybe he’s trying to maximize his KU experience and wants to make more of a contribution right out of the blocks!

He also likely gets more NIL money as a redshirt player vs recruit

@wissox i was at both semifinal games with my goalie son btw. We sat right behind the goal for the vermont denver pks. My boy stopped a huge PK in his showcase game the next day. Small world fun stuff.

@approxinfinity Awesome experience. I would love to be able to attend a college cup some day. I loved watching Vermont in that semifinal match. Great team!

@approxinfinity wow! Congrats to him!

@approxinfinity I had recorded the final and heard the result, but watched anyways and that was just an amazing match.

@approxinfinity My wife and I were watching as she’s a solid soccer player back in the day

The announcers call of the goal was phenomenal….one of the best I’d ever heard (I’m not a soccer guy but his excitement had me on the edge of my seat)
