KU recently hosted Brown forward Nana Owusu-Anane. KU is not in a rush to try and secure a commitment from him at this time. I would be surprised if they do going forward. Doesn't hurt to get the ball rolling on that front since the 4 spot not only needs a starter but a backup going into next season (unless Tiller is going to be the guy).
So weird that you can have in-season visits from guys currently enrolled at another school. Another reason we need better management from whoever the governing body is these days.
We need to go back to 4 guards. I feel like next year you’ve got flory center, tiller off the bench. Either zach or some other mid major big to be a 3rd big for depth. But go all in 4 guards. We had a good run with that last however many years. Don’t go to old school basketball and play 2 big guys. Since we’ve had Hunter and running 2 big guys we’ve been awful.
Big time talent in the portal already. Treysen Eaglestaff from North Dakota. Had 51 in a game recently, had 40 against Alabama. I dont need to say more. You go after and see where it goes
@BeddieKU23 Well it's at least throwing your name in the hat, you don't show any interest, you sure not gonna at least have any kind of chance. What position does he play ? -- will he be a Sr or what ?

Definitely has solid numbers and can score the basketball. Best player on a team that went 12-21 and did have some stinkers as well (including all three games against St Thomas). Defense is abysmal so for me that's a non-starter with Bill Self as I'm really hoping we can better identify playstyle fits this offseason.

Think I saw Trilly report Keyshawn Hall from UCF who we play tonight and had 34 against us last time could be in play for that 3 or 4 spot.. if he enters which i would imagine is likely. So early but KU mentioned there.

I would take him in a heart beat for next season.
The North Dakota kid mentioned above would be a hard pass, unless it would be in a back up role, but even then I think KU already has better on the roster with Passmore.

KU/Ohio State/Ole Miss listed as the three leading early.
Hall was great last night. Is character ok? Was whiny but that is explainable by dropping 34 and losing
@approxinfinity I think they (ucf players) take on the character of their coach.
LOL, a kid a taught who was really good, went to four different high schools, somehow got a scholly to play at Columbia and entered the portal. He's not going to the NBA and leaves an Ivy League school. 6th school in 6 years coming up.

Pretty much this IMO. Dawkins isn't known for running a tight ship either. Their roster is filled with reclamation projects as well.
I've never minded Johnny Dawkins. Does a decent job.
