Saw that Oliver Miller of Arkansas died last night. In 1991, the unexpected run to the final four we played them and their '40 minutes of hell' run n gun style. This was the elite 8. Well Ol Roy had his boys ready and even though Arkansas did kind of run us out of the gym early, we ran right back at them. Oliver was a big, big, like nearly 300 pounds and he faked an injury and just lay on the court for like 5 minutes because he was gassed. Finally got his big ol body up off the floor and waddled over to the bench, pride hurt more than anything else and we moved on to the FF.

I think there are plenty of problems between the ears on this club unfortunately. But I don’t remember us seeming so unbelievably tired when Hudy was here. Self has made so many excuses for Juan and other guys being tired since she left. Anyone remember Frank or Devonte giving that excuse after playing 35 plus minutes. I don’t, I remember them making plays while tired to win us a lot of games.

I think it's just really hard to beat a team twice in such a short tie span. And this team doesn't do hard things well. My expectations are pretty low for the tourey. One win, maybe two, possibly 3, definitely not 4. This team hasn't won more than 3 games in a row since furman. Haven't won more than two in a row since winning at Cincy.

Wow hard to watch Philon get to the hoop and dominate UK and then Zuby play 38 minutes as big dropping 33 on a ranked Marquette team. Hard not to think of what may have been with more intelligent roster construction. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a 100 times. Whomever is doing our scouting in the portal needs to be shown the door too many misses the last 3 years.
