I went to the Red Lyon for a brew and to watch some ball and talked with the rando next to me. Turns out he was the executive chef for the Dallas Cowboys at one point and is in town planning the menu for… a new restaurant in Allen Fieldhouse. It’ll be mostly a big donor spot but he told me the menu was going to be super high end and Kansas themed. Smoked meats at AFH for everyone! @approxinfinity i nominate it for the KU Buckets holiday party

@FarmerJayhawk would be nice! Whether i can make it or not, this sounds like a great idea and i nominate you to head up the discovery committee to see if it could happen :)

Not home, but big 12 club seats - all sessions, first 10 rows, all you can eat and drink (NA) - $9k per seat per 6 years “seat license” and $1600 per seat for the tickets. …Hard pass. The Big12 tournament is a lot of fun, but it is a far cry from Allen Fieldhouse.

Great to hear, the donor area last year really wasn't great.
