@kjayhawks I am with you. If the overthrow was occasional I would understand, but repeatedly means to either try someone else with that play or not do that play, esp on a 3rd down with the QB that has shown he cannot connect on it.

Seems to be zero energy on the Kansas sideline, have these guys packed it in?Figured they’d be pissed and come out ready to fight. Definitely not the case

@kjayhawks I was briefly on the fire Lance wagon until I realized it doesn't matter who the coach is. Kansas football is dead. There hasn't been a truly great player here in 60 years - Gale Sayers. Hoping KU will ever field a real team is like believing the government has your best interests in mind.

I hate then when a guy gives up a longish pass play, but then levels the receiver and he gets up celebrating. You gave up 15 yards to a 1-7 team and you celebrate because you hit the guy hard?

@nuleafjhawk I haven’t said He should be fired yet but if we miss a bowl with a team loaded with seniors, his seat should be warm going into next season. Now DK should be fired right now! OSU is the worst passing team in P4 yet they are throwing to open guys that don’t have a Jayhawk within 10 yards of them.

@nuleafjhawk JD is Juan Harris last year in basketball he was never ment to the face of a program. Both great guys but they ain’t cutting it

Jalon Daniels. 18 TD's 3 ints. I don't think there's another QB who's doing that for this team this year. He has his faults I acknowledge but he's our best QB BY FAR since Reesing. The injury bug from a couple of years ago put a damper on his career, and the Grimes effect last year neutered all of the fabulous receivers we had. Last year should have been an offensive juggarnaut but Grimes malpracticed us out of even a garbage bowl game.

@kjayhawks Maybe this is what we get from ESPN+ but there was little evidence shown either way. I truly don't know what happened there.

I see two very experienced guys that completely failed to lead a program. Anyone that doesn’t think Juan was a huge part of our struggles last season. Doesn’t have the knowledge to discuss it. To put as friendly as I can.

@kjayhawks i see Juan as an underwhelming athlete on a perennial top 5 team, and Jalon as a good athlete on a perennial bottom feeder. Basketball is a played by about 8 guys, football by about 50 guys.

I am much higher on Jalon this season than I was on Dajuan last. But the situations are different.

@rockchalkjayhawk I will say this about Bowen he was okay when we had some horses. I believe he was Co-Defensive coordinator the orange bowl year. When he was coaching guys like Charles Gordon, Talib, Chris Harris and Darrell Stucky. He looked a lot better, my personal opinion was we should’ve hired him instead of Beaty because he had way more experience compared to a position coach.

@FarmerJayhawk I’m very happy tonight, the game could’ve gone much better for sure but the result regardless of how we got there could not have been better. I don’t believe we had any injuries and we were victorious. It wasn’t that long ago winning 5 games in a season seemed impossible in Lawrence. Heck I thought they may have a parade down Mass street when we almost beat OU a few years ago. That being said am I nervous about missing out on a bowl for the second year in a row? Yes, does it make me more nervous seeing a 2 deep depth chart loaded with Seniors? Yes, do I think DK McDonald is right up there with Vic Shealy as the worst D coordinator in not only Kansas history but CFB? Again yes. Next week is the most important game of the year. Let’s go get them

@kjayhawks Yeah this game would've clinched a bowl game had we not choked that Cincy game away. I think that's the loss that really stings. Missouri didn't sting as much as it was kind of expected. Wasn't surprised to lose the last two. Of our last three games, Utah is the most likely loss, although it's a home game for us and if we're fighting for a bowl game it might be doable. Zona and ISU are crap shoots.

@wissox Leipold has had ISU number with a 3-1 record vs them and they look to have completely fallen off of the wagon at this point. That being said they will be fired up after the last 3 years especially if it’s a night game in November in Ames.

@wissox Mizzou stung me pretty bad since we were up 21-6.

@wissox Utah looked awesome tonight. I think we can beat both Arizona and ISU though.

AZ scored 52 pts in 3 Qs at Colorado, so I'm not counting on beating them in AZ to become bowl eligible. KU may be left with beating IState in Ames. But IState won't have to beat KU to get to a bowl since they still have OSt on their schedule.
