Top of the 9th, KC just scored 1 to go up 5-4 and now they have runners at 1st and 3rd with 1 out. Dyson on 1st.

Cain single, Escobar scores. Dyson at 2nd and Cain on 1st, still 1 out and Hosie up.

Going to bottom of 9th KC up 6-4.

Hot Damn. Way to go Royals. Going home for 3 and leading 2-0. And only took 9 innings. (beer)

@brooksmd they are so much fun to watch, never quit, play for each other, and are having a blast! Team ball!

@Crimsonorblue22 are you kidding me. The Royals are undefeated in the playoffs and just took two on the road from those media darlings Orioles and coming home for a three game series. Hell ya I'm partying. :)

@Crimsonorblue22 I take in few games a year. I would love to get some tickets to a world series Game. I was telling my wife tonight after the Royals won, that you have no ideal how crazy this is going to get. I remember 85.

I know Royals-O's fans will watch. But will casual fans commit to 4 and a 1/2 hour games very often? No. I love baseball more than any sport actually, college hoops a close second, and I am very concerned that it is a dying sport. The length of these games is a serious issue. Yesterdays game averaged almost 30 minutes per inning. 11 of the 18 half innings had no runs. That's a lot of time devoted to nothing happening.

Want more evidence of baseball's demise? Tonights NLCS game is on minor cable channel FS1. I'm so aggravated with baseball, I can't stop writing these inane posts!
