Beyond a shadow of doubt the wild card game had to be the greatest. :beers:

My prediction, Royals in 6 only because I'd love to see them win it at home. My druthers would obviously be in 4.

I'm just glad there's baseball on again, seems like it's been a week since there's been a game. SF taking a page out of the Royals book by running on that tag up.

Fox is the only free channel on my TV that doesn't show full screen. One other reason to hate Fox sports, which I loathe.

@wissoxfan83 Probably your local station and not the network.

Shields not his best so far and at 30 pitches he'll have a short night unless he settles down. Hopefully the bats are all loaded and ready to back him up.

Believe me @brooksmd, I've dreamed of the day KU comes to Baton Rouge, or heck, even NO again. It's a little surprising NO doesn't have any holiday tournaments. I did see KU's waterski team the other day at a waterski place down the road from my house! Met some nice KU folk there.

Guess I need a big screen tv or new glasses cause I thought that one was out. Whew!

@brooksmd Hos HAS to take that first pitch with the sacks full. If it's ball or strike, the Giants were clearly on the ropes. Too much adrenaline for these kids. Escobar couldn't lay off the high fastballs. They gotta slow down & let it come to them. Missed a big chance to chip away at that lead

@brooksmd I was really referring to the fact that KC, as some have pointed out, look tense, swinging at bad pitches, not making contact when it's really necessary.

@brooksmd Yost needs to know when to give the take sign & he Royally effed up when Hos was up with em loaded. Escobar was swinging for the damn fence at balls about shoulder high when all he needed was a single. Hell yes they're full of adrenaline, but get control of it & utilize it to an advantage. Giants pitcher was full of energy too, he had thrown about25-30 pitches & walked Cain prior when Hos whacked at the first damn one. Gotta do MUCH better tomorrow night. Can't go to the bay down 2. Make it best of five after tomorrow night.

Madison Bumgarner is really, really good; he was selected to the All- star for the last two years and was just selected NLCS MVP, and has been by all account the hottest pitcher in this year's post-season. The next three pitcher are all 4 games below .500 so the Royals should have a pitching advantage until he comes back for game 5.

@brooksmd The day at the Sprint Cup race it was 2-A10's. Very disappointing-I was waiting for the the B-1.. They're stationed at Whiteman I think. But just with the fuel saved from one meager fly over the Prez & all his kinfolk & even the dog can take another trip to Wally World !!
