Looks like Yost sticking with last nights lineup.

Oct 25, 2014 11:57 PM #2

I'll be watching- go Royals.(and LSU). Nice to see how Vanderbilt played Mizzou so tough in Columbia today. They were in the game until the last 4 minutes.

Oct 26, 2014 12:00 AM #3

@Crimsonorblue22 Mo'ne "throw like a girl" threw out the first pitch.

Oct 26, 2014 12:01 AM #4

@JayhawkRock78 LS who?

Oct 26, 2014 12:11 AM #5

I hope Mississippi wins because I think it will be a lot of fun for an undefeated egg bowl.

The dreaded leadoff walk

Oct 26, 2014 12:27 AM #7

@brooksmd Thanks for starting the game thread. AM BUSY...with this boy. Piss & Vinegar Galore. Mom pulled rank-he is now Racal & living up to it. I swear he jumped at least 7 ft high knocking a basketball out of my reach this evening. Have not had one this feisty in almost 10 years. Will try to keep up as he winds down later tonight. He IS a handful !!

@globaljaybird

Oct 26, 2014 12:35 AM #9

Ok I'm ready now. Just had a couple of dogs with kraut and mustard. Got a cold one at my side. Hope Vargas is ready next inning.

@globaljaybird Our patio is plumbed for propane for our grill and have about a 10 ft hose. Mikey when he was a pup took great joy in turning that hose into equal pieces. I know he did 2 and it may have been 3.

@wissoxfan83 Yeah I'm going for Ol Miss also.

Oct 26, 2014 12:37 AM #10

There you go, According to Bill James the leadoff walk scores 38% of the time, but even more importantly, in an inning when it happens teams average nearly one run in those innings, which is essentially an ERA of 9.00 when it happens.

Oct 26, 2014 12:57 AM #11

Need to win tonite with Baumgardner going tomorrow nite.

Oct 26, 2014 12:59 AM #12

Gordo needs to park one in the pond.

Oct 26, 2014 01:07 AM #13

Good hustle by the boys to tie this up.

Oct 26, 2014 01:14 AM #14

Yes sir. Infante you da man.

Oct 26, 2014 01:17 AM #15

Royals playing some very effective small ball.

Oct 26, 2014 01:19 AM #16

@wissoxfan83 You betcha. Just text my nephew that Infante has really had a good post season. Playing great d and getting timely hits. Nobody really talking about him but he has been a big part.

Oct 26, 2014 01:21 AM #17

Just wish it was the 7th innning.

Oct 26, 2014 01:21 AM #18

All the runs have been scored with two outs.

Oct 26, 2014 01:23 AM #19

Vargas needs to help his cause now.

Oct 26, 2014 01:31 AM #20

MAN!!!!

If there was ever the time for a suicide squeeze that was it! 3rd inning, 2 outs, bases loaded, and the pitcher at bat. In an inning where the defense was already shaken up.

I wonder when the last time Vargas practiced a bunt?

Back in the 90's the Braves pitching staff practiced bunts everyday.

Oct 26, 2014 01:33 AM #21

@brooksmd 2nd base was a revolving door last year.

Oct 26, 2014 01:35 AM #22

Just looked at Houstons sched for next year and see a 3-4 day trip the end of June when the R's are in town.

Oct 26, 2014 01:37 AM #23

@jayhawkbychoice Welcome. That might have been interesting.

Oct 26, 2014 01:49 AM #24

Damn, thought Gordo had one.

Oct 26, 2014 01:54 AM #25

@brooksmd yell louder!! For me!! Everyone here is in bar watching.

Oct 26, 2014 01:55 AM #26

@Crimsonorblue22 Lol, ok. Was just commenting to wife about stupidity of the clown out there in his kayak with his dog and the grill warming up. What an idiot.

Oct 26, 2014 01:57 AM #27

Let's go Royals. :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:

Oct 26, 2014 02:01 AM #28

Boy I hope Vargas isn't doing this to keep my interest.

Oct 26, 2014 02:09 AM #29

Alright Hosie, that's how you beat the shift. Come on Moose put it in da pond.

Oct 26, 2014 02:10 AM #30

Looks like a young Fidel Castro pitching.

Oct 26, 2014 02:14 AM #31

@brooksmd said:

@JayhawkRock78 LS who?

I am for sec upsets. SO TIRED of this SEC bunch. When A&M moved over it is twice as obnoxious around here.

Oct 26, 2014 02:15 AM #32

@JayhawkRock78
How did that end up here???

C'mon ROYALS,!,!!

Oct 26, 2014 02:16 AM #33

@JayhawkRock78 Huh, because you put it here?

Oct 26, 2014 02:18 AM #34

@brooksmd Yeah it would have been interesting. Maybe Yost is saving it for later. If it was game 7 that would be the ideal situation.

Oct 26, 2014 02:19 AM #35

Damn, Vargas has been his own worst enemy tonight.

Oct 26, 2014 02:29 AM #36

@brooksmd Damn Merv did it again. But one is as good as a hundred if it holds. Lets see what Duffy has in the tank. Couple of months ago he was PDG but he may have issues with shoulder or the after effects of the Tommy John surgery. If its a cuff, that usually gets worse & rarely better.

Oct 26, 2014 02:31 AM #37

He was close to 100 mph but low to mid 90's is about it now.

Oct 26, 2014 02:32 AM #38

@globaljaybird It don't help when you leave it belt high over the middle of the plate.

Oct 26, 2014 02:40 AM #39

@brooksmd Looks like it's a 4 inning game now. If it goes extra we've spent 4 pitchers already.

Oct 26, 2014 02:46 AM #40

Damn one of the few times Aoki pulls one.

Oct 26, 2014 03:00 AM #41

Geez, loading the bases with Pence coming up. I feel sick.

Oct 26, 2014 03:10 AM #42

@brooksmd Not me I'll have a couple shots win, loose, or draw.

Oct 26, 2014 03:18 AM #43

Let's go Jay...er Royals clap clap clap clap clap!!'

Oct 26, 2014 03:18 AM #44

@VailHawk don't give up!! Go!!!

Oct 26, 2014 03:20 AM #45

Come on Finns show your stuff.

Oct 26, 2014 04:08 AM #46

Good nite. Be back tomorrow nite.

Oct 26, 2014 04:35 AM #47

@brooksmd bummer, got to get it tomorrow!
