Oct 29, 2014 12:28 AM #6

@brooksmd ha ha! I held "it" for the 3 hour drive home from Lawrence last pm, or I should say this am, 2am. Coaches event was awesome, but long.

Oct 29, 2014 12:30 AM #7

@Crimsonorblue22 Was looking at some old posts and read that story about Dyson reading Doolittle when he stole 3rd in wc game. Very interesting.

Oct 29, 2014 01:04 AM #21

Oct 29, 2014 01:27 AM #26

Whew

Oct 29, 2014 01:28 AM #27

Whew is right!!!

Oct 29, 2014 01:40 AM #28

Looks like the Royals won't need Denkingers help in this game 6.

That was a great night. I worked at Pizza Shuttle delivering pies to hungry and drunk college students. Well the tension of that game made people forget about ordering pizzas. So we just sat around doing nothing, except watching Cardinals-Royals game 6. As soon as Denk blew the call and Iorg (I think) delivered the winning hit the phone rang off the hook and off we went delivering pies to drunk(er) college students.

Oct 29, 2014 01:50 AM #29

Dang took one of the kids out come back and we got another run.

Oct 29, 2014 01:57 AM #30

@brooksmd whatever it takes!

Oct 29, 2014 02:00 AM #31

Glad Perez got the hit but think it should've been E at first.

Oct 29, 2014 02:04 AM #32

Oct 29, 2014 02:10 AM #41

Lol.

Oct 29, 2014 02:10 AM #42

@brooksmd Wife let him out-I was still at work. I recall Woody going for 2 + min before so I'm guessing that long. He's holding it 8 hours overnight, so he's well housetrained, He did get me up twice the very first night but not since. I believe his issues with other families has been just too much dog (energy) for him to fit in a household. You understand what it's like brooks. Dogs need enough room & land to be dogs-chase rabbits & squirrels & birds & rough house. And you have to be willing to keep them safe & not just let them run amuck. Two ladies walked by the place this am about 7:45 & I thought he was going over my front cattle gate. His front paws were touching the top rail & if I'd not been there with him, he woulda been right out. If he ever figures out he has wings he'll fly. He was knocking a BB outta my hand last night at 7 ft height. Most of my back yard is 6 ft but the gates are about shoulder high. Pasture is only 4ft with a top strand of barb. I may end up having to put some juice in it.

Oct 29, 2014 02:11 AM #43

@globaljaybird is he fixed?

Oct 29, 2014 02:14 AM #44

@globaljaybird BOY THIS IS FUN!!!

Oct 29, 2014 02:15 AM #45

@Crimsonorblue22

OK how's this??

If music was bullshit I'd be a brass band ! Lead off man on again. More, more, more !! 9 ZIP !!

Oct 29, 2014 02:17 AM #46

@Crimsonorblue22 Yes. If you don't get em clipped real early in life they may never outgrow their hormonal instincts-kinda like some men. Let me clarify. I mean like hiking their leg marking all territory available. Posing down & threatening other male dogs for seemingly no reasons, etc.

Oct 29, 2014 02:17 AM #47

When is the last time a World Series base runner ignored to stop sign and ran OUTSIDE the coach to score. Luckily he wasn't out.

Oct 29, 2014 02:19 AM #48

@globaljaybird yeah when we adopted Mikey they wanted to be sure we had space for him and even then they hesitated becuz we didn't have a physical fence. Think the fact we are rural and road dead ends helped.

Oct 29, 2014 02:21 AM #49

@JayhawkRock78 that's what speed do!!!

Oct 29, 2014 02:22 AM #50

@JayhawkRock78 sometimes you just know!!

Oct 29, 2014 02:27 AM #52

Oct 29, 2014 02:59 AM #62

@brooksmd Yeah, right !

Oct 29, 2014 03:00 AM #63

Dat's what Google says.

Oct 29, 2014 03:05 AM #64

@globaljaybird Man no tranquilizers in the house. Will have to start drinking early and often tomorrow night unless the boys come out on fire like tonite.

Oct 29, 2014 03:07 AM #65

I seldom watch baseball anymore, but when I do -I notice digital cameras give you definition like nothing before. To be able to see a pitch heading for the plate, with the slider rotating the seams so fast 90 degrees left to right,,,unbelievable.

Oct 29, 2014 03:11 AM #66

@globaljaybird sounds good!

Oct 29, 2014 03:12 AM #67

@brooksmd you will need it to celebrate!! Momentum is ours! Home team wins!!!

Oct 29, 2014 03:13 AM #68

The Giants can breathe easy knowing they don't have to face Holland in the ninth. :laughing:

Oct 29, 2014 03:16 AM #69

Dang, I have a range safety officers meeting tomorrow night at 7. They'll have to carry on without me.

Oct 29, 2014 03:16 AM #70

@brooksmd I'm wicha on dat !

Oct 29, 2014 03:20 AM #71

Billy B still no homers. Is he saving it for walk-off tomorrow nite?

Oct 29, 2014 03:25 AM #72

Dang that's an old record that's hard to believe.

Oct 29, 2014 03:27 AM #73

How much you think a ticket would sell for tomorrow nite?

Oct 29, 2014 03:33 AM #74

Wow. Saw some great ab's, great pitching by the kid and usual great d.

Oct 29, 2014 03:34 AM #75

No clue but if my dad was still around we would have been there for one of these series games.

Oct 29, 2014 03:38 AM #76

@brooksmd someone said the price of a car! Not sure what kind!

Oct 29, 2014 03:42 AM #77

If I had a pair, $100,000 so I could buy the 2 acre lot next to me.

Oct 29, 2014 03:48 AM #78

Right now there are no tickets on Stubhub.

Oct 29, 2014 03:52 AM #79

Oct 29, 2014 03:54 AM #80

@brooksmd Tics dropped about half for upper deck & standing room tonight to around $400 but surely will be max for game 7. Remember when I called it mrbrooks-Royals in 7 !!

And BTW-
The last time a visiting team won game 7 of the WS was 1979...
35 years ago !!

Oct 29, 2014 03:59 AM #81

@globaljaybird Yeah I remember you calling in 7. If I have a heart attack tomorrow nite it's your fault. :beers: Man this beer is so good.

Oct 29, 2014 04:12 AM #82

@brooksmd I started off the pregame with a REAL cold Miller Lite before dinner & am ready for a nite cap of brandy, ice water & Nicaraguan stogie.
Will catch ya on the rebound if I don't get dunked. And you're too damn mean to have the big one so plan on meetin up again for game 7. You too @Crimsonorblue22 .

Oct 29, 2014 04:13 AM #83

@globaljaybird can't wait! Me in my bathrobe!!

Oct 29, 2014 04:14 AM #84

@globaljaybird Yeah you're probably right. Gud nite all and see ya tomorrow nite for winner takes all.

Oct 29, 2014 03:48 PM #85

@wissoxfan83 Some local KC reporters said they we're asking Joe Buck questions once & he was rude & curt & treated them as he was some sort of prima donna. I think he is still POed about DD's call on McRae in the 85 Series. He's clearly giving the Giants more praise than KC. Every time I hear his name mentioned I think a guy like Ratso Rizzo should be his sidekick... "Ma'am I'may not be a real announcer but I'm sure one helluva stud " LOL !!
