If you don't click the gist of his letter to the editor, which is what this 'story' is about, states that Kentucky's extremely physical style of basketball, smothering the opposition needs to be stopped. He didn't mention their stockpiling of talent, but I'm sure that was behind the story.

The professor missed the real story. The essence was captured, but for a college professor you would expect a better defense of his overall statement.

They are dominating, not corrupting. They're just too damn good. I don't like it either, but hats of to Calipari for assembling such a team. I'm sure plenty of other coaches would love to smother and bully opponents as effectively.

Totally unrelated but I just read about and saw how KState blew, and I mean blew, choked, hacked, gagged and puked away a win against SWAC Texas Southern. That team is 2-9 with its two wins against KSU and Michigan State!

It is rumored that the Pope Francis and Pope Benedict agree on only one issue: issuing an encyclical that prevents Catholics from attending, or watching, UK games.
