@wissoxfan83 I didnt mean to offend. Olivia and Jason are celebrity KU fans. I put that photo up there just to lighten the mood after that tough loss. I agree, it is a bit racy. I can change it if it would make other people more comfortable.
I have nothing but respect for KU Buckets and everyone on here.

@brooksmd do you go to any of the festivities? Not Lawrence, the real one.

@Crimsonorblue22 No. When my wife worked in a private practice, the dr would buy a table for the ball of one of the krewes, don't remember which but it was big as they held it in the superdome. But we never went. Really not into all of that. Sometimes if all the family gets together to tailgate for the local parade we go. But never into NO. Too many bad people.

@Crimsonorblue22 Thats the term they use down here instead of group. Krewe of Zulu, Krewe of Proteus, Krewe of Orpheus and so on are some of the parade names.

@Crimsonorblue22 Some of the krewes are private organizations meaning you have to be a member to ride. Others are open and you pay to ride. In any case you buy the throws (beads, cups, stuffed animals) yourself. The Krewe of Zulu members decorate empty coconut shells to throw and those are highly prized cause there aren't that many.

@brooksmd interesting! How long have you guys been there, and why there?

@Crimsonorblue22 My wife is from here and we moved back in 1999. Kind of a long story.
