@HighEliteMajor Thanks for posting the ol gunny vid. After watching that one I watched the 30 minute vid on the making of Full Metal Jacket and learned a few things. The ol gunny was hired as a tech advisor and stole the DI role from the dude who was the door gunner on a chopper. Most of Ermey's butt chewings of the recruits were not scripted. Couple of people mentioned his whole personality changed when he put on the DI uniform. Guess you can take the ol gunny out of the Corps, but you can't take the DI out of the ol gunny.

Kind of funny... we all diss on Perry for being too "designer"... too much thinking and not enough playing. But we are the same way. We analyze every crayon in the box when we should do more coloring!

I am very superstitious about uniforms.
Those grey with the pin stripes are the reason we haven't been as solid the last two years as in the past. :-)
But I have no superstition about Danny's uniforms.
