I attended an early service today. So for those who would hear this message, I simply repeat what our paster said. "He has Risen."

And the people said, "He has risen indeed."

@VailHawk another thing that makes Easter a great day is getting together with family and friends after church. Which is only topped by the fact that it's a day I get to use the dishwasher rather than having to do all those dishes by hand. Yippee!!!

Sorry to hear about your toothache, seems like it has been an ongoing issue for you lately and I don't envy you...maybe you need a second opinion?

@brooksmd Just make sure you get them all sparkly clean before you put them IN the dishwasher.....

You sound just like my mom did. She would pretty much wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher...but then, back then dishwasher were not that good.

@JayHawkFanToo Lol - that's an ongoing "battle" between me and my wife (guess who wins) - I'm like "what's the point of having a dishwasher if they're clean when they go in?" Maybe it's just more storage, I don't know.

For sure Happy Easter. As long as people understand the reason for this to truly be a happy day. Some get things lost in the translation. - Big gatherings , Easter dinners, Candy and such, - -But yes thanks to everyone and have a very happy Easter - - it's a great day as he HAS Risen. - -Be safe everyone

It's a good day to get together and appreciate family, even if you aren't Christian.

We hopped on a family zoom meeting and it was nice to see everyone together and not feel so isolated.

Just got off the phone with my siblings in the Midwest to wish them Easter greetings.

I'd originally planned to be back in KC later this week for a HS reunion. Of course, all that fell through, but I still count my blessings to have such decent relatives and friends that I can stay in touch with. That includes my friends on this board too !

We still go to my parents every once in a while and went today. They take our temperature at the door :face_with_tears_of_joy:
