Why did we send salvy??

@Crimsonorblue22 I'll defer to Jirschele's judgment, if he thought Salvy could get there he probably had good logic for doing so. He's proven a very good decision maker over there at third. I really thought Salvy was scoring as soon as Gordo's dinger went over Schafer's head. Credit to Schafer, he played that ball perfectly and the relay throws were perfect.

@Crimsonorblue22 Not necessarily that fast. Series just ended yesterday & the league will notify the teams far in advance of releasing the information to the press.

Suspensions are definitely on the horizon, but they rarely come so fast. Could know by tomorrow. I think Herrera and Ventura are guaranteed to miss some ball games.

@VoyagingJayhawk I think if Herrera had not thrown at Lawrie then fingered his dome, Ventura probably would have received a pass. But that little episode yesterday escalated it to a whole different level IMO. Hard to speculate what will happen now so I won't even try.

They certainly are playing with a "chip!" They take every opportunity to feel slighted. They find every moment they can to use their emotions to up their level of play. It seems to me like they figured something out during that playoff run last year.

Someone on MLB network (I don't remember who) was commenting about all the drama and compared it to when Tampa Bay came on a few years back. He noted that they were clearing the dugout every game vs. the red sox and others. He likened it to a little brother making sure big brother knows he's here to stay now.

I kinda liked that comparison. It gives them space even as the returning AL Champs to feel like they have something to prove every game.

Our hawks could take a note or two about the fire it takes to win when it matters (not that it really matters right now for the royals but you get my point).

Do we own the 8th or what?? You know, I don't care if anyone dislikes how emotional these guys are, they must be miserable folks. No fans are treated to as good a show as the one these Boys in Blue give us every night.

@VoyagingJayhawk Tomorrow Ill dig out & post some pics of litters we've had. Roxy & Woody were our own pups, but since they've passed Rascal was a rescue dog. He weighed abt 45 lbs when we got him & is abt 75-80 now. He's just one rather large sweetheart...unless you're a squirrel or rabbit.

@globaljaybird Please share! I would love to see them. My parents rescued a pup that's part black lab and redbone coonhound awhile back and she is the most animated/funniest/craziest personality I've ever seen in a dog.
