The last few home games against UK have gone pretty good I'd say..
UK won't be half the team they were last year but it won't be easy as essentially both teams will be in the heart of their conference schedules when they meet. Still I bet the guys will be fired up for sure.

UK has the #2 ranked class and it also brings back several good players; it is ranked top 5 in just about every ranking I have seen. KU should win but it will not be an easy game by any means.

Shouldn't be an easy game, but you never know when talking about Calipari. We will have the same advantage they had on us last year, with the extra season before college ball.

Too bad the game is January 30th; I would have preferred a much earlier date when KU was ready and UK not so much...kind of like last year.

Nice matchup for the middle of the season. Can't wait. I don't know what our consecutive home court streak sits at, but it will likely be on the line that day.

Nothing spectacular about the class. Slab and Briscoe are very good players and they will earn their high ranking. Matthews is good but he might be a player who is better down the road. Honestly know nothing about Mulder other than he was a shooter in juco. It's not your typical #2 class but it's UK so it's hyped. KU got 2 five star forwards but have that what 15th best class. Seems weird that our class seems to be under the radar so to speak.
UK lost their top 7 guys. Yes they have a few remaining pieces but it's hard to imagine they won't be like the UK regular season of 2 years ago as opposed to last year's near perfect run. You just can't replace the talent they had
BUT with our home court and revenge for last year it's hard to imagine the place being anything short of magical

I was born and raised there. I left in 1997 when I joined the USMC but I visit every couple of months. My parents are still there.

Past KU vs UK games have brought around $300 for decent seats and $1500+ for court side. I'll have to see if someone has a ticket they don't have a need for...;)

I'd like to see us play them. It was interesting last week. I attended two LSU-Misery baseball games and talked with a Miserable fan. He said that he'd heard the two schools were talking about renewing the rivalry. It was news to me, and I doubt it too as I follow what's going on pretty closely here on my official KU sports news source KUBuckets!

@JayhawkRock78 Right on .. that and his semi collapse when we beat Davidson to get to the FF were the most emotion he's ever shown, other than when Anrio Adams got the ball stolen in three seconds (and other such moments).
