Couldn't we compromise just a little?
Allen Fieldhouse, Naismith Court & Nike Restrooms?
Cool, enjoyed seeing the other facilities as well. Great soccer and track complex.
As for naming rights, as a Sox fan/Cub basher it always cracks me up that the Cubs have a stadium named after a major company, but don't receive a penny for it. Wrigley did well on that one for sure and when he sold the team the Cubs should have played hardball with him and made him pay to keep his name on the stadium.
Easy fix for that. They get another big sponsor and credit a hyphenated, married name.... hummm.... how about "Wrigley-Doritos Field?" Yummy... imagine chomping on Doritos while chewing an old stick of Wrigleys? Or how about "Wrigley-KFC YumYum Field?" Mmmmm... deep-fried bird with chewing gum.... nice combo!
If they can't find a big corporate sponsor, how about they go back to one of their original park names... Weeghman Park or Cubs Park?
The million-dollar question: How many tons of old Wrigleys gum is stuck to the bottom of all those seats at Wrigley Field?
Can AFH be rented out for wedding receptions? Just a thought.... I'm already married but my goddaughter is looking for a venue....

It is beautiful indeed! I hope the day never comes that we have to read "FED EX FORUM", "KFC YUM CENTER", or any other God-awful brand of advertising on our court.
Keep in mind with Memphis that they are not the primary tenants on their building. The Memphis Grizzlies are, but the CEO of FedEx is a big time Memphis donor (he offered any power conference $10 million per year to accept Memphis) so the Tigers are probably getting a pretty good deal on renting it out, if they're even paying any at all.
