There's big ifs for this to be reality.

If Cheick plays

If BG shoots it all season instead of just the first half

If Wayne carries over his nice little international run with more superb play and IF he plays consistently

If Svi can keep up at a DI pace and shoot it like we think he can

If Perry can play big when he needs to

If Frank can nip the out of control in the bud like he did almost all of last year

If Bill coaches it the way WE think he should :)

Those are too many ifs for this pessimist, but I do see top 4 potential for this team.

Has anyone heard if BG is running yet? That is the early season subplot that is not getting enough attention. His health is a critical element for this team because he can space the floor in a unique way. He and Svi could really help stretch the defense and give Perry more room to operate on drives.

Brannen Greene may be the most important backup in America.

Just saw Brannen Greene run across the street. The hip is fine, everyone. Good to go.

Isn't BG being held out of Boot Camp?

He must not be 100% if this is the case. He could at least do it without being pushed quite as hard but still get the needed bonding with his teammates.

@drgnslayr I am pretty sure that HCBS said he was doing boot camp but not at 100%. He was out there, but not quite full speed (following offseason hip surgery), although he did well,โ€ Self said

@dylans Biggest IF for me is Diallo. We need him on the court.
If Wayne stays at the 3, He'll be just fine. BG might take more time to reach peak physical health but it could peak for him at the right time for us. SVI is going to be a stud this year, I can feel it.
