Toronto lost today, Royals could go back into a tie with them for home field advantage with a win against the WS tonite. But Royal have to finish ahead as Toronto owns the tiebreaker.

@Crimsonorblue22 She's very pretty. He definitely got the better deal. :wink:

Oct 02, 2015 03:41 AM #67

@brooksmd Royals pretty much have to sweep the Twins and hope Toronto loses 1.

Oct 02, 2015 03:46 AM #68

@brooksmd Toronto plays at Tampa who's sitting in the cellar with nothing to play for but pride, while we play the Twins who are fighting for a wild card. Ned, have I mentioned you're a bonehead for intentionally losing a ball game?

Oct 02, 2015 03:58 AM #69

Interesting game. Is 4 the magic number now?

Oct 02, 2015 04:16 AM #70

@brooksmd jays intentionally lost 2, too

Oct 02, 2015 05:08 AM #71

@JayHawkFanToo Yep. Not gonna be easy.

Oct 02, 2015 05:24 AM #72

@Crimsonorblue22 One was understandable since they won the opener of a doubleheader and clinched the division.

Oct 02, 2015 04:35 PM #73

@brooksmd

A little easier for Toronto since the magic number of them is 3 and they play Tampa Bay, a team out of the race and the only incentive they have is to prevent a Canadian team from clinching home advantage...grasping at straws here. KC, on the other hand has to play Minnesota , a team that can still make the playoff, although if they lose and Houston wins, they are essentially out.

According to this publication β†—, the odds of grabbing that last wild cards spot are: Houston 74,4%, Angels 16.1% and Twins 9.5%
