Some Likely Half Empty Threads If KU Wins the National Championship This Season
Dec 08, 2015 05:06 AM #1
  1. They only won it by five.

  2. Self wouldn't have won it without the edge of Allen Field House getting him another 1 seed.

  3. That's the last ring any High-Low team will ever win.

  4. KU would have gone undefeated, if Self had started Diallo and Bragg all season.

  5. The Composite 5 that @jaybate 1.0 says got 27 points, 22 rebounds, and 6 blocks really doesn't count as a post man.

  6. Yea, they won the NCAA National Championship, but they only shot 16 treys in the Finals and you can't keep winning rings doing THAT!

  7. They wouldn't win a second consecutive national championship next season, if senior Landen Lucas were to return and play 25 minutes in the Finals again.

  8. Coaches always luck into one on the down hill slide.

  9. Yeah, they won it all, but they were the weakest KU team to win a championship ever.

  10. They played just well enough to win a ring; that won't get it done year in and year out.

  11. C5 and Frank played well, but we still should've got more out of the 2, 3 and 4 positions!

(Note: All fiction. No malice.)

@jaybate-1.0 keep 'em coming!

@jaybate-1.0 If KU wins a national title this year, we can have all the ridiculous debates possible and I wouldn't care because there would be a new banner hanging from the north end of Allen Field House which is the goal at the end of the day anyway.

@Texas-Hawk-10

I agree, but I would. hate for my fellow Jayhawks to suffer quite so much angst! Me included . 😄

And the Number One Likely Half Empty Thread if KU Wins The National Championship This Season:

If @approxinfinity had started this site several years ago, Self would have been able to read @jaybate-1.0 longer and translate his knowledge into more W's and National Championships. Can we sue the "other" site for holding us back?

@nuleafjhawk

Alas, you were born funnier than me, but I keep working to catch up!

@jaybate-1.0 I don't know about that, but thanks? lol

@jaybate-1.0 Man I had to go back and retread all these empty threads and couldn't believe that you forgot this one:

Would you give up Allen Field House forever and ever as our home gym just to be guaranteed a National Title.

Don't know where to write this, so here goes. I read Keegan on Bill Self this morning. Self was defending his big man rotation as he has 6 talented bigs and not enough time to play them all.

So I go down to the comments. While some were thoughtful and informed (i.e. stupidmicheal is posting there) there was so much bickering it was crazy. Entire threads of comments back and forth, "you insulted me first....."

Glad to have the Bucket to worry about our team!

@JRyman Oh HELL no. :-1:

Dec 08, 2015 03:53 PM #11

@nuleafjhawk see I knew there was a way to get people to all commit to NOT winning a national title.

Dec 08, 2015 04:06 PM #12

ohh, we can be more decisive! How about another eight years of king obama for a national championship? That should cause as wide divide as I see in the current debate.

Some value national championships over evereything else in life. Some value them highly, but not solely.

Dec 08, 2015 04:19 PM #13

@dylans Wow ... when you put it that way, I guess I don't value national championships as much as I thought.

Dec 08, 2015 05:26 PM #14

@dylans I'd give up any notion of ever winning a National Championship ( or even a 12th straight Conference Championship ) to see people quit texting and driving. Seriously.

Dec 08, 2015 05:28 PM #15

@jaybate-1.0 We won by 6. It just seemed like 5.
