Title this year or next year?
Oct 29, 2016 02:17 AM #1

What if, similar to 08, win a title and lose our entire starting lineup and then some gone to the NBA? Then we lose the talent needed to break UCLA's conference title next year?

Would you rather have an NCAA title this year or break the conference title record next year? (I know, both, but you know.)

@chriz

Wow... did you open up a can of worms. I better grab my fishing pole...

@chriz title this year! Still going to reload and break record. Sorry!

@chriz

Coach Self has been there before and had no problems. KU will be fine.

@chriz

Titles next ten.

That's my preference.

Let's get the national championship. Then let's win the conference, and the national championship next year.

Guard - Garrett

Guard - Newman

SF- Vick

PF - Svi....Lightfoot?

C- Kudunka.

That's a pretty good start. Geez Louise, that team is full of shooters, with an experienced, dynamic footer itching to dunk everything in sight. That is a team that will win the Big 12 and more.

@chriz NCAA title more important, we already have more conference titles than any other school. Plus trust in Self he has won the B12 before after replacing all 5 starters twice if remember correctly (06 and 09).

I would trade the entire conference title streak for any one of the national titles KU could've win betwwen 2010 and last year. As great as the streak is, KUis a program judged by what they do in March and April every season. I want a national title.

@chriz Im good with tying it this year and winning an NC...call me greedy but I want it all. And, like was mentioned b4, KU can and will win the conference again with a new roster.

Maybe the better question would be, how about conference title this year, no NCAA title though, but more pieces come back next year. Conference title would be all but guaranteed, and NCAA would be even higher likelihood than this year? (Or maybe it wouldn't be?)

@chriz

I'm stuck on winning both.
