Kansas football will be at home saturday to host ISU at 11 am on Fox sports net. ISU is the lone other winless B12 team in the conference. They have one win against San Jose State on the year. Things were supposed to be better for ISU this year returning RB Warren with WR Lazard but have been feast or famine on offense. Their defensive numbers mirror ours with less take aways. I think we can win this one, my key is to run the damn ball Kinner averaging over 5 yards per carry get him, Hiebert and Martin going early. The o line has looked better in the recent weeks. If we can do that and win the turnover battle, I like our chances. KU 31 ISU 23, Kinner gets over a hundred yards and new QB Stanley plays well enough to move the chains on a regular basis.

This is going to be an interesting game. Which team refuses to lose? Our defense is capable of shutting down an average Iowa State offense. Iowa State has used two quarterbacks in most of it's games, Lanning and Park. Each averages about 135 passing yards per game. Their top rusher is Warren with only 66 yards per game. Our defense could really shine today.

Our offense is always to question mark, especially because Coach Beaty is starting Carter for the first time. If our offense finds a way to move the ball against a very average Iowa State defense, KU wins this one. It's time to win a big 12 game. KU 31, ISU 20 RCJH

If we want to win we cant give them easy points, id bench Quv to many fumbles and drops have cost us dearly vs OHIO and TCU

Quiv needs to be pulled from return duty, too many mistakes. I know ge was looking in the sun, but no excuse for that one. Props to the defense for holding them to a FG.

Stanley doesn't look good. Neither does the offensive line. The defense needs a quick stop or a turnover.

We need to be able to run the ball to win this game o line better pick it up, need turnovers now would be nice

@stoptheflop It's a variation of the sweep. It's just part of the running game designed to pick up 3-4 yards at a time when run well. That was just a horribly placed ball by Stanley forcing Sims to go backwards.

I State's offense is flat out playing our defense this half. Their O line is opening huge holes. I feel like we need a big play on offense or this game is lost.

Why do you run a route short of the first, game if they score here.

@kjayhawks 2 points would've made it a 6 point game which forces the extra point to be made to potentially win at that point. Considering there's already been a blocked PAT in this game and Wyman's misfortunes in kicking, it's not a bad strategy.

Most important series of the year for our defense here. I don't understand why we stopped running 3 straight passes = turnover on downs

@Texas-Hawk-10 Watching the relay idk how that wasn't a penalty, fore arm shiver a guy. I don't think it would've matter tho. Just disappointed, we have played well enough to win in 3 quarters now against OHIO, TCU and ISU. I think missing some linebackers was a big deal today in how they ran it down our throat.
