I'm astonished how good a shooter Embiid is. So natural on that 3 point shot.

@Crimsonorblue22 HOW can you not love this guy -- in-believable talent, oh what it would of been like to have him another year. - - - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Embiid's ceiling is unbelievable. He is playing like a veteran and not a rookie; however, he needs to temper his enthusiasm, veterans don't like to be shown up by a rookie.

Nov 28, 2016 02:53 AM #5

@JayHawkFanToo I don't want him to temper it!

Nov 28, 2016 03:03 AM #6

@Crimsonorblue22

He is a pro player now and these players are his co-workers and some day even teammates. He needs to control his emotions or risk alienating players...and this is the last thing a pro player needs. Just my opinion.

@JayHawkFanToo I don’t think any veteran will take serious umbrage at Joel for being overly excited, for say the first half of this year at least. They all probably are willing to cut him a break when doing so well after missing two full years while rehabbing. The comments by Jefferson after the game suggest it isn't a huge issue but the incident can still provide a lesson to the rookie.

Now, if he doesn't take a hint, future reactions may be dicier for him........

@mayjay

I agree.

Looked pretty routine. Jefferson must be mentally weak.

Embid had a CT scan on monday, everything looked good and the team has increased his playtime from 24 to 28 minutes per game.

Dec 01, 2016 05:52 AM #11

@Ralph Good news for Embiid. Also, he got a rest tonight, as the 76er game was cancelled, unsafe conditions, moisture on the hardwood.

Dec 03, 2016 02:06 AM #12

Another solid outing for Jojo tonight with a double double 25 points and 10 boards. When he is cleared to play more he's gonna put up some huge numbers.

Dec 03, 2016 02:07 AM #13

@kjayhawks heard they upped him to 28

Dec 03, 2016 02:08 AM #14

@Crimsonorblue22 yep he's got a minute left to play

Richard Jefferson... one of the bigger drama queens in the league.

He better cool it or next time he will catch a world-changing elbow to the face.

@drgnslayr

Richard will just find another bride to leave at the altar

You guys, imagine what Joel will be doing in 3 years if he remains healthy!! SO FAR SO GOOD!!

Joel will be MVP of the league and the best Big since....WHO???

@Ralph NICE! If Phila lets Joel play enough minutes, enough games, he will win the Rookie award going away!
