welp, getting stoked for the game tonight. - -hope the ladies come out really focused. They just have to take that one match at a time approach, would be nice to get out of this cotton picken 5 match sets we have been going thru lately -- but in the end run a win is a win whether it's a 3 game sweep OR the full 5

@jayballer54 Ya we already played Creighton in Omaha and they took us to 5 sets, I didnt like that draw ether personally. You usually dont play a team that you have already that early in the tournament.

Well Creighton squeaked out their match - - 5 sets , they were up 2-0 northern Iowa comes back 2-2 dominates 4 th set and then goes down 15-12 really good game. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@kjayhawks Ok. I got a couple of questions. One is there NOT such a thing as being able to challenge a call in the tourney? - - I know multiple times during the season each team had 3 challenges , the announcers mentioned the Samford squad wanted a net or something like that I believe in set 1 - -BUT no challenge, well if you thought there was a violation especially in the NCAA tourney wouldn't you challenge if you could?

The announcers said that Kelsie was showing no effects of her sprain - - - maybe I', imagining things but to me she looks a little slow - -a little in-decisive about going to the floor for balls, anyone else seeing that or is it me? - -I'm thinking she may be a little leary of re-injuring her ankle. - - Yes -- No - -Maybe? - -I dunno.

Creighton is going to be tough. They are coming in on a 21 game win streak. They have won a set in every match this season except for one. So expect them to come ready to fight.

And that's it for the Volleyball team, Came out like the BB team does sometimes with no energy, you can't win just because of your ranking. No one to blame but themselves. At least we got the B12 I suppose just sad to see it end at home like this.

20-18 was the final, had service errors bye senior in the 5th set. Very disappointed.

@kjayhawks Creighton was a bad draw. A VERY good team. Like I said before, came in winning 21 in a row and had only been blanked one time all season. Giving up that 2nd set was all the momentum they needed. Gutsy last set by both teams. Sad for the seniors, but they should take some great pride in being the start to building something that hopefully continues.

@Kcmatt7 super bummed! Havili not getting the serve over killed us. Creighton was tough! Hope they get texass

@Kcmatt7 Ya I agree but watching the two middle sets we did too much standing and waiting for some else to make a play. I'm happy they had a good season just disappointed that they didn't play harder to start the match.

@Crimsonorblue22 That is some Havili did all season -- had a lot of service errrors in the season - -but winners win and losers make excuses - -bottom line is we just got beat. - -Didn't bring our A game. @jayballer54 Yes Wait is a Senior. I didn't mean to sound rude or anything but I think you agree, we just didnt play with energy tonight. I still love our girls and thanks to our seniors for the best 4 years in history. I always felt like in BB that if you're out in the first weekend it feels like you didn't even get to play in the tournament.

@Crimsonorblue22 we def got a bad draw , #4 playing #21 in the second round. That's a Elite 8 match, Did they all win in the second round or first?

@kjayhawks I thought it was a good draw- get them at home instead of elsewhere. Oh well. Something to build upon.

@dylans Yes we should've beaten them, and did at their house early in the year.

No question it was an extremely disappointing loss but the girls had an incredible season and one they can be proud of and one to build upon.
