Just FYI. If a posting is edited by me, I'm not editing content (unless its "say hello to your mother for me" variety). I'm just adding tags.
What do tags do?
So I clicked on tags and there are a lot of those korean/japanese/chinese tags.
So I think it's working. Check this out:
@approxinfinity whats wrong with saying hello to each others mothers?? :smirk: lol
Yuck! Can I make them invisible to me?
I hate the Web changes of the last few years. As soon as everyone got vertically challenged screens they added stuff to make us scroll even more.
@ParisHawk yeah you have a point. I thought the same thing but wondered if the value of the tags would make it more acceptable as we acclimate to it. Imagine we want to look up all the live game threads, or find a posting about Frank... I agree it's busy though. Maybe we can cut the tags down shorter and limit to three at most on a post. If that's still too busy then I think we should can it.

We can probably eliminate "KU Jayhawks" and other totally general ones as a tag. At least for our purposes in using the board.
Your board, your rules. I am happy to have a platform where I can interact with fellow Jayhawk fans...tags or no tags.
Here's my two cents, Folks: Keep this site as simple as possible. Old guys like me are slow to change, and are confused or befuddled by change. Already, I have no idea what this "tag" stuff means. I don't want to chance clicking onto something only to find that I might have unintentionally paid a discourtesy to another poster.
@REHawk The tags are not part of every post. It's only when starting a new thread. When you do it gives you the option at the bottom to add tags. Tags are a brief description of the topic. It seems that internet searches key on them, so adding tags gets buckets more hits. Hopefully more hits means more KU friends not more spam bots.
@jayballer54 Don't feel lonely, man. I'm a guy whom grandkids can help me reset my digital watch in the fall, then I can't recall how to reset it come spring. Copy and Paste? Jeez! That must be something out of Star Wars.
@REHawk LOL I know, I know exactly where you coming from. I don't even have a watch anymore, I just watch the time off my phone. Thank goodness it automatically re-sets it's self - -ya the copy and paste thing ummm - - NO, it's hell to get old - -well sometimes , and then there are other times I'm glad where I'm at lol. - - -ROCK CHALK AL DAY LONG BABY
