I still watch this every year. You can feel the Fieldhouse through the TV screen.
Anniversary tomorrow.

Ya, the one game I didnt extend the dvr recording time, so did not capture the OT. So have had to watch youtube version to get my antiMizzoo fix. Otherwise would have made my own private dvd of it, for decades of private viewing pleasure!

Great article, makes you think how far the MU basketball program has fallen since that game and how far the Star has dropped since Posnaski left.

Perhaps the Star blames KU for the departure of Joe Po and its descent into mediocrity and hence its reinvigorated and overt hatred for the KU basketball program.

Hey, other than 2008 Final Four reactions, the reaction by Bill Self post-Mizzou game are the BEST to me in 14years of watching his every demeanor. It may even be better than the 2008 Final four, since I recall Self as calmer then, as he finally got the big prize.

But this was the most emotional I've ever seen him. Way more than even negative emotion of TopekaY comments, etc...

Loved every second of it!

Awe yes I remember this day very well. I was only able to watch the first half, I was coaching in a MAYB tournament that day. I was so ticked on the way to our game lol. I didn't have a DVR but luckily some of our fans were tracking it. It was a fun day.
