Hope the Big 12 continues their good tournament performance so far? Pretty sick of the Big12 sucks narrative.

Imo today

Easy win: KU
Should win: Baylor
Coin flip: Okie Lite
Probably losing: KSU

3-1 would be fantastic, 2-2 probably more realistic, 1-3 fits El Poyo's narrative.

@BShark Confirm for me: Big 12 is 3-0 so far? KSU, WVU, ISU?

Since there are only 6 teams in and you name 3, I imagine I didn't mess anything...

@ParisHawk

Correct.

Mar 17, 2017 03:56 PM #4

@BShark Do you know if there is a site where Conference records are updated? Curious to know how the Big 12 is doing compared to others.

Poor kSU, their play-in game doesn't count lol.

I want to see Baylor and Kansas St win. Baylor should win, K-St can win, Cincinnati isn't some miraculously better team.

Oklahoma St is playing a team that caught fate so we'll see how Michigan plays after the adrenaline of that situation settles. Battle of who's defense is better. Definite Coin Flip.

3-1 would be a goood good day

Yes, it was counted. The link doesn't have the late Iowa St result.

The only way the Big12 is successful in the ncaa tournament, in my eyes, is if KU makes the final four. The rest is just peripheral noise.

I only have love for KU.

@dylans

Enh, I'd like to at least see the rest of the league play to their seed. Judging the entire league on how the top team does is somewhat unfair.

The only way NMSU is going to beat you is by shooting 3's. So keep playing a zone, Scott Drew.

Mar 17, 2017 05:32 PM #12

@KirkIsMyHinrich

Why would he ever change?

Mar 17, 2017 05:33 PM #13

@BShark Because he's lost in the 1st round the past two seasons. But ya, not expecting much in terms of halftime adjustments.

Mar 17, 2017 05:34 PM #14

@KirkIsMyHinrich

Yeah no, still gonna run that zone. For all my thoughts about Self being rigid in the past, Drew is extremely rigid defensively.

And, he will, which raises the distinct possibility that BU will go out for the 3rd years in a row in the first round to a double digit seed. BU is supposed to be a top defensive team and gives up 40 points in half to the NMSU. Just boggles the mind...

Mar 17, 2017 05:44 PM #16

@DCHawker

They looked really bad against KSU on D too. They are not the same team from the first half of the year.

Mar 17, 2017 05:47 PM #17

@BShark smh. Don't care. If KU wins I'm happy. If KU loses I move on with life. There's way too much cool stuff to do in this short time on this world to spend it watching teams I don't care about.

But it's cool if that's your passion. Do it up!

@BeddieKU23 Michigan was playing really good before the B10 tournament started. 6-2 in tgeir last 8 regular season games including wins over MSU, Wisconsin, and Purdue. Their 2 losses were an OT loss at Minnesota and a 2 point loss at Northwestern which are not bad losses. They entered today winning 10 of 12 including 6 wins over tournament teams.

Agreed, if only to get el chicken to STHU!

4-1 so far and the only loss was OSU by 1 point to a higher seed. Pretty darn good.

The conference has a good chance to place 4 teams in the Sweet 16, unfortunately KU and ISU might have to play each other and only one will move to the Elite 8...assuming they win their first two games.

Mar 17, 2017 08:16 PM #21

@JayHawkFanToo Yep, could easily be 5-0 too if the Pokes didn't run into the Golden State Wolverines today. Unfortunately I think KState might lose to Cincy tonight.
