Not really a surprise with the air raid only using TEs sparringly. This quote makes the guy look like he wasn't willing to put in the work, which is a cancer for the team so bye Felica. From Jace-“Overall, KU is a great place to be and I know they are going to be very successful in the future,” Sternberger told the Journal-World. “Those guys work way too hard. In the end the overall scheme wasn't the best fit for me.”

@kjayhawks I just read the quote amd you took it out of context. The full quote was, “Overall, KU is a great place to be and I know they are going to be very successful in the future,” Sternberger told the Journal-World. “Those guys work way too hard. In the end the overall scheme wasn't the best fit for me.”

Sternberger was referring to KU works way too hard to not be successful and he's leaving because TE's are barely featured in this system which I think is a mistake and should be used as the 4th receiver to exploit match ups against slower LB's and smaller safeties.

Ben Johnson certainly got plenty of looks during the spring game. Coach Meacham is going to get our offense going.
