Still think the or one of the biggest reasons he hadn't was because of all the legal crap he had going on. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Best of luck to Josh. He had an incredible year in Lawrence. The best OAD player in KU history in my book. Looking forward to him being a top #3 pick in the draft and a future stud in the NBA which can only help our future recruiting.

Best of all possible good fortune to you, Josh. Kick with solid people, keep your nose clean, and make KU folk proud. I predict that by year 4 you will be an annual pro all-star. On court you gave to this Jayhawk program more than we ever could have expected. In a personal sense you walk away a champion.

He will learn the NBA game fast. He is already 20 years old which is to his advantage. Definitely going to miss him, but I am excited about next year's team! Then again, I am excited about every year's team!

@BeddieKU23 He did? The #2 or #3 overall pick should've removed all "wonder."

Apr 18, 2017 01:56 AM #9

@KansasComet don't know if we will ever see a player who can play the 4 spot like josh!

Apr 18, 2017 02:06 AM #10

@Crimsonorblue22 He is one of a kind! A very special talent, once in a generation type player!

Apr 18, 2017 09:34 AM #11

@truehawk93

People on another KU board were actually thinking he was coming back.

Apr 18, 2017 10:54 AM #12

@joeloveshawks You said it all there. Best OAD ever.

Apr 18, 2017 02:11 PM #13

Well.... there goes my fantasy. Durn it.

Go kick some arse in the league, Josh!

Look forward to your returns to Lawrence.

I'm glad he's gone. I really didn't want to wear a diaper to work next year.

Apr 18, 2017 02:39 PM #15

I will definitely miss Josh and his passion he brought every single game.

What an incredible talent Josh is. No question that he has set the bar very high for future OADs and has lived up to Coach Self's "unpacking the bags" catchphrase. Here is a nice write up about Jackson's start at KU. ↗
