That list and a dollar will get you a large coffee at McDonalds. Remember Tripper Allen was SI's pick for POY last year. Down around #9 they had Frank and Josh. Projections keep sports writers employed during the off season and that's all.

@brooksmd

ESPN has Tripper Allen as the 2018 POY...go figure...

@JayHawkFanToo If that's the best of the best then college bb is in deep :poop: Isn't there another Ball kid this year? Daddy will straighten ESPN out real quick.

@JayHawkFanToo I'm pick Alonzo Trier for NPOY with Miles Bridges as his main competition.

I thought the publications where running with Miles Bridges to be npoy. I didn't see it from the one game if msu's I watched last season, but that could be Franks fault for humbling him early.

@jayballer54 And importantly for KU moving forward, Udoka and Preston aren't even on the list. Nice.

Well to be fair to the kid, he got injured and played the rest of the game hurt.

He should definitely be an NPOY contender.

@HighEliteMajor I almost said something about Udoka when this article was posted. I predicted he would be a Wooden candidate this year before his injury last year. If he's able to resume where he was plus has the conditioning now to play 30 minutes nightly I wouldn't be shocked to see him on that list. I don't think he can win it because he hasn't established himself as a main focal point of an offense that has lots of scoring options. An opportunity he missed out on because of the injury.

@HighEliteMajor Ya Udoka not being there kind of surprises me. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
