Interesting read from 3 years ago --- foreshadowing latest news

During his final broadcast hour this afternoon, Kevin Kietzman (810 Sports - Kansas City) interviewed the author of the following New York Times magazine article --- (Coincidentally, the author grew up in Kansas City and attended Rockhurst.) Although the article was written THREE years ago, the storyline certainly foreshadowed much of what was included in Tuesday's FBI indictment:

Near the end of Kietzman's show today, he also shared the following online reporting link:

Sure hoping there's no connection with Jayhawk Nation but there certainly is enough overlap to make me nervous!

Garbage. Just like KK himself oddly enough.

Kietzman probably wrote it himself. He's such a hater. So arrogant, always playing the "I told you so" card. He'll have guests on the show who know so much more about sports than him and he can't concede an opinion from them to save his life. He's borderline rude to them. Always has to be right. Can't stand the guy.

Why can't they all be like Steven St. John and Soren Petro?

Gotta say, I love Petro's humility and open-mindedness.
