Oh my goodness, can it be? - - Good ol Roy Boy's beloved Tarheels got beat by WOFFORD at Chapel Hill? -- Got to be a mis print - not the all and mighty Tarheels at Chapel Hill. - - hmmmm

79-75 last night. Wonder what good ol ESPN - -Dickie V and all the other ACC suckup media will have to say? - -I can tell ya - - NOT MUCH, just a bunch of excuses, cover ups for good ol N Carolina.

Ya Ku gets beat twice - and man ESPN and commentators just have a field day with it - -Oh whats wrong with KU, KU has issues, well sure very well partially true but I wouldn't exactly put Wofford on the Same level as Arizona State - or even to a lesser degree Washington as far as that goes.

But it's the ACC we are talking about here, it's N Carolina we are talking about here this can't be, watch they will smooth it all over - ahh Wofford much better then people give them credit for, that will be just one of the excuses they hand out, because as we all know THIS just does not happen. Not to NCarolina - -Not to good old Roy.

Wofford was in control of this game pretty much the entire 2nd half, NC got pretty close towards the end but NOPE couldn't do it.

You tell me which is a more embarrasing loss, - -KU losing to Arizona State at Allen , or North Carolina losing to Wofford in Chapel Hill? - - not even close. Wofford picked to finish SIXTH in the Southern conference. Not sure where Arizona State was picked but let's look - -Sothern Conference - -Pac 12 -- Pac 12 - - Southern conference, not really the same level conference I don't think. - Still sit back and watch they will try and down play this as a no biggie. - to me - -funny as hell.

On a serious note, this game right here is a perfect example of what a couple of us have been talking about this week. - KU better be ready tonight, better be focused for sure Stanford is what 6-6? Still Jerrod is gonna have these guys Jacked for this game. Another perfect example where this is like an NCAA game to alot of these schools. Teams have trouble focusing on these types of games right before Christmas. KU has had alot of trouble with games like this right before Christmas. We are not good enough at the present to have one of these types of games - got to be focused and not worried or concentrating on getting on the plane for break. - We better be ready, we need to close the non con out on a good note. - -Travis is going to go off, got to shut down the others. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I'm sure their defending national championship status will help soothe their hurt. I would take a loss to Wofford if we were still living in the glow of a national championship. But I'm forgetting what that feels like.

Creating a post that mocks a team for loosing a game they should have won just seems pretty silly. It makes us look like insecure fans who feel satisfaction when another team loses a game. It makes us look like defeated fans who think, well, our team stinks but at least one of our peers sucked....last night at least.

And UNC is coached by one of our own. Roy Williams, a near legend at KU.

Losing to an Arizona State team at home is in no way shape or form even close to losing to a Wofford team - -again Pac 12 - -to a Southern - you tell me who has the more prestigious league?

@jayballer54 Gary Parrish dropped the TarHeels 10 spots to #15, and Lunardi dropped them to the 3 line on ESPN. We are on the 4 line and at 18 now, I think, on CBS.

I have read analyses citing UNC's new players not meshing as a major flaw. By contrast, analysts are focused on our lack of another go-to post player as revealed in our losses, a factor much discussed by us fans as well. Team cohesion can be addressed with practice and more games. Roster issues for us will hopefully be ameliorated, but the rankings are based on where we are, not what we hope will happen.

I see no excuse-making by anyone for UNC's loss and do not see any anti-B12 bias involved--the number of conf teams ranked (6, by Parrish) seems to disprove your complaint. And Parrish's lead article today is about TCU's big improvement.

You were already quite incensed anticipating all the bias you wrote about, so I do not know if any of this matters, but I think you might want to at least reassess your expectation.

Right now, KU's roster is flawed in ways that good teams can exploit.

If Preston and De Sousa are available, that flaw does not exist and KU is immediately once again one of the best five or six teams in the country. If those guys aren't available, KU could get to the Final Four or lose in the first round of the NCAA tournament. That's the level of variation because there is a clear roster construction flaw if those guys aren't available, and a bad matchup could expose KU at any point.

Once an announcement is made on Preston and De Sousa, we can figure out what the ceiling (and the floor) for this team is.

After KU lost these two games OMG you would think that the end of the world is coming. What's wrong with Kansas and pointing out well the last time KU got beat two straight at home was - - blah , blah , blah - and it didn't stop on the sports center. The reason for this is because KU does NOT have 2 game losing streaks. It's a big deal. It's news when something only happens every 30 years.
