Kansas University’s men’s basketball players won’t break out the T-shirts and hats until the day they wrap up the undisputed 2013-14 Big 12 regular-season championship.
The official celebration is on hold until five-loss league teams Iowa State and Texas, who trail KU by three games with four to play, are mathematically eliminated from the race.

Ward: Kansas' Naadir Tharpe shines late against Oklahoma ↗
LAWRENCE — Bill Self has probably been Naadir Tharpe’s harshest, or at least most vocal, critic.
When Kansas’ junior point guard hasn’t played well, Self has let him and everybody else know. The 11th-year coach has ripped into Tharpe plenty on the court, perhaps most notably against Toledo back in December, when he called a timeout a mere 35 seconds into the game just to chew out the native of Worcester, Mass.
Myles Turner to visit KU ↗
Myles Turner, a 6-foot-11 senior center from Trinity High in Euless, Texas, will make an official recruiting visit to Kansas University for next Wednesday’s Senior Night game against Texas Tech, Rivals.com reported today.
