Nothing Has Changed
Feb 18, 2018 12:39 AM #1

@HighEliteMajor was correct again.

Feb 18, 2018 12:48 AM #2

Nothing has changed across the board. How many top teams have lost this week? 70%? The one thing that KU has going for them is that they are a great road team!

Feb 18, 2018 01:22 AM #3

lolololololol

Feb 18, 2018 02:14 AM #4

@BShark Keenan Evans get hurt?

Feb 18, 2018 02:15 AM #5

@Crimsonorblue22 Yep. Hurt his foot. Lindsey is sick for Baylor.

Feb 18, 2018 02:16 AM #6

@Big-Clyde52 serious injury?

Feb 18, 2018 02:17 AM #7

I’m sitting in the parking lot listening to post game! So blessed to see a fun game

Feb 18, 2018 02:18 AM #8

@Crimsonorblue22 Don't think so. Probably holding him out as long as they stay close.

Feb 18, 2018 02:24 AM #9

@Big-Clyde52 They say doubtful to return. All the more impressive that TTU is tied on the road without their best player. Think we could do that without DG? Oh, forgot, we couldn't win there with him....

Feb 18, 2018 02:30 AM #10

@DCHawker Game is turning. BU missing FT's, turning ball over. Don't look like they need Evans. Lindsey back in. Took a nice charge.

Feb 18, 2018 02:36 AM #11

Hope Evans injury isn't serious. The kid is a stud and has had such an incredible year. Want us to go toe to toe next week.

Feb 18, 2018 02:51 AM #12

@Big-Clyde52 TTU without 3 starters now, and still might win...

Feb 18, 2018 02:54 AM #13

@DCHawker Yep. Missed FT's. Bad TO. Thanks Baylor.

Feb 18, 2018 02:58 AM #14

And were back on top

Feb 18, 2018 03:11 AM #15

@Statmachine Yep. Need to take care of business on Monday. Baylor win again on Tuesday. Okie St. pull the upset at home on Wednesday.

I still do not believe we deserve a #1 seed at this point. Win out from here, then yeah.

Feb 18, 2018 03:18 AM #16

More that half of the teams ranked higher than KU blew it this week. 1 seed? Probably not but no one has really helped their chances in that department this week. If next week KU has 2 wins and everyone else takes another L then a 1 seed is possible. I am still keeping the faith!

Feb 18, 2018 03:25 AM #17

Ah, yes. But Monday ... Monday, Monday, Monday. A win Monday creates a change in the narrative. A win Monday and things are starting to look differently. A loss? Well, we go on about our business and hope that things can be different at some point this season. Monday is the biggest game of the year -- to set the stage for the really biggest game of the year.

Feb 18, 2018 03:33 AM #18

@HighEliteMajor Agree totally. We have 4 biggest games of the year to play in conference. Check them off one at a time and not look ahead. If we get thru all four, we have #14, and a lock on a #1 seed.

I still think Tech could lose to someone else. A lot depends on Evans getting back to full health.

Feb 18, 2018 04:23 AM #19

It would be kind of lame if KU wins the league because Evans is out long term.

Feb 18, 2018 04:27 AM #20

@BShark I’ll take it. We had a key guy not be able to play too in Billy.

Feb 18, 2018 04:43 AM #21

@BShark Tech is not entitled to have all the stars align.

Blake Griffin is the only person who has a legit grievance against Fate. The imbalanced schedule about a decade ago meant we only had to play OU once each year of his 2 years. His first year (2008), major knee injury 5 mins into the game. Next year (2009), he misses only our game with a concussion. Those two games are a major part of our luck in keeping the streak going.

WE are entitled to have stars aligned!

@mayjay

Great post. That OU team with Griffin was tough as nails
