Joe Dooley won the ASUN regular season conference title for the second straight year in 2018. They start the conference tourney Monday night.

@Blown Why would he want to? The program, as the announcers on one game last night said, is about to enter "nuclear winter."

@Blown I know. I was thinking they should look for an ambitious grade school coach instead of setting their sights on anyone who has absolutely no reason to poison their careers.

FGCU should be tournament bound again. They had a lot of chances in the non-conference to prove themselves but fell short every time. Not sure this team is as good as last years with largely the same cast. Will be rooting for Dooley!

@mayjay The only reason I could think of is......$$$$$. 3 years of struggling, whether they are successful or not.....and he would make more than 10 years at FGCU

@Hawk8086 Let's bring FGCU and UCF to the B12 and schedule Spring Break for the final week of conference season every year so our students can go play in the surf and Disney World (making ESPN even happier) and fill their arenas! Then they could afford to keep Dooley.
